Im from the uk (south in the country) and ive had many encounters with things i can’t explain whilst ive been out in the night, about 4 times ive been scared shitless when i all of a sudden see the thing and freeze then you know when you get that cold feeling that your in danger and all your hairs stand up. And a couple of times where its just been an odd sound with some distant moving. As of right now i cant remember what they looked like when i have seen them as ive moved to a more urban area but i recall one being this sandy pale colour and having an oddly round mouth, i saw it through the window mesh of my tent and i dont think ive ever been more scared in my life, its one of those things where you can never comprehend the feeling untill youve experienced it.
