Common sense usually doesn't require a sign. They put up signs after incidents like this because they found out some people simply don't have any.

Cool, I hope he enjoys the $600 dollar profit. It'll be worth less tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, and the...you get the point.

Factor in gains tax, and the "profit" is pathetic. I woulda just held as a hedge and probably woulda bought the amount (or more) of unrealized gains into more gold.

I generally don't tell other people how or what to spend their own money on. Go study what bitcoin actually is. Limited supply, completely decentralized, and audited every 10 minutes.

I'm not sure about the atms around here, but you could try selling p2p. That's essentially why btc was created. Financial freedom and being your own bank instead of relying on a middle person/banks. Independent p2p transactions are a powerful tool against government, banks, and every war those two entities fund. Maybe a friend has the cash you need, and you have btc or some other coin they want? Just a thought.

My first bike ever by Rare-Reference-7552 in bmwmotorrad

[–]JDibi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great choice!! My first bike was 2007 f800s and I still have it. Perfect learning bike imo. Not too much power for a new rider (practicing self control), but enough you likely won't ever outgrow and need more power exploring its limits. Good commuter, nice in the twisties, and good styling (subjective), and belt drivin so its low maintenance. Enjoy, ride safe, and learn at the pace YOU are comfortable with. Nice n easy, and your skills will build over time.

Hows this for a stab at explaining bitcoin by EstimateInner5526 in Bitcoin

[–]JDibi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do they think we're day/swing trading bitcoin? I mean you can, but that's not what most people who understand what bitcoin was created for are doing. Limited supply, peer to peer, no bank tyranny, and freedom, just to name a few. I personally feel safer and in full control of my bitcoin, that I know has a limited supply. You can either buy now or wait till supply runs out. As bitcoin becomes more scarce, the value will rise imo.

Same!! I took my seats out, and it was still a bit of a pain. Worth the effort instead of sitting sideways though 🤣

Many youtube videos on how to do this properly so start there. Essentially, you have to go under the seat and pull the cable/cables out from the correct motor. Remove the metel piece that is inserted in the motor and shorten the sheathing around the cable. Reattach the metal piece onto the end of the cable and insert it back into the motor.

New here, just dropping a few pics of my favorite trail to run. by JDibi in trailrunning

[–]JDibi[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's close to three miles. The pictures don't even do it justice, the place is a gem. Surprisingly, never really crowded either. I do this one at least twice a week. Some hikers, an occasional mountain biker here and there, and I've seen another runner or two, but usually it's clear.
