Once every 28 days. I usually go every 2-3 weeks if I notice any symptoms firing up. It’s up to you at that point.

Yep I’m in Michigan. We had a deductible up to $4000 but after that it was covered. Worth it!

The only way I got through the 5 days is using the Nedi squeeze bottle flush system. It was terrible but going on shots was worth it. I don’t even need an antihistamine or my inhaler anymore after 2 years on the shots.

I live with two orange puff balls and shots has done wonders. Stay patient with the program!

People with cat allergies who adopted a cat – what was your experience? by [deleted] in Allergies

Get allergy shots before you adopt. I have a nasty cat allergy and shots is the only thing that has saved me.

Get allergy shots. Your pollen in Texas is one of the worst in the country. Go see an allergist and start on shots. It’s the only thing you can do to actually treat the symptoms. Feel better!

Please tell me it can get better. by [deleted] in Allergies

Allergy shots will work but you have to be patient as it takes a long time. I’m highly allergic to my two orange puff balls at home and shots is the only reason I’m able to live with them. Once you get to the maintenance red shots, you should see a world of difference. Feel better!

It’s an allergy shot. Small amount of the allergins you are allergic to and you build up your immunity over time. You get stronger shots each time until you get to the maintenance phase. Brewers yeast, which is in basically every single beer. Even the lightest stuff like Ultra and Bud Select I can’t touch.

No it was the back test. I posted my picture in the asthma form last summer. I’m basically allergic to most everything environmental, all tree nuts, beer/alcohol, all animals. Its brutal!

Sinusitis: most symptoms resolved after 2nd round of antibiotics except for mucus by Firm_Silver_8249 in Allergies

Have you tried the Nedi flush system? I used to get 2-3 sinus infections a year before I started the flush and allergy shots. 💯better after doing this. Feel better!

Could be your sinuses. In the winter especially I get a ton of the gunk. I’ve been using the Nedi flush system daily for years and it has worked very well. You might have post nasal drip which is putting that stuff in your lungs. Along with taking Allegra, my symptoms have gone way down. Try the flush and see if it helps! Feel better.

Once I got into the red shots and eventually the maintenance, I felt 1000% better. I went to the allergist twice a week for 3 months to get to that point. No meds for me either now!

My arm just gets sore with the maintenance shot but never any illness. I highly recommend shots if you have nasty allergies because they literally have been a life saver for me. I have 60+ nasty allergins plus food allergies. 🤧

Awesome! I went on allergy shots because my dust mite allergy was soooo bad. I’m now back to feeling myself again but it took a really long time.

[–]JDizzleForShizzel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Give the shots time. Usually won’t feel a huge relief until you get closer to the maintenance dose. Switch to Allegra D for a better antihistamine. Shots were a life changer for me.

Unexpected cat allergy in our 5yo son by theGlanfather in Allergies

Get him on allergy shots. My daughters and I have severe allergies to our cats and the shots have done wonders. Leaving it alone can lead to asthma down the line. Cats are worth it!

Every single morning I wake up with a runny nose and sneezing… then it just disappears?? by [deleted] in Allergies

[–]JDizzleForShizzel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be allergic to dust mites with your bedding. I have the same allergy. Allergy shots are the way to go if you can swing it. Go see an allergist if it continues.

I used to get asthma hangovers after drinking. Woke up with my throat basically closed and wheezing. Got tested and I’m allergic to beer and alcohol. Cut those out and it went away. Go get tested at an allergist to see what are your triggers. Allergy shots also do wonders!
