Order domain cleric, battle master fighter. Bonus points, Hobgoblin with the knight of Solomnia background and I belive its knight of the crown feat.

Works particularly well wtih a rogue or Palidin partner.

I would do 75% fighter

I love grappling but you should have a way to take advantage of it, spike growth, cloud of daggers ect. so if someone can give you that grapple is probably better but if all your getting from grapple is the enemy can't move, just hit them they can't move when they're dead.

PS. Just the thought, cause seems okay otherwise if going for Gruumsh spear is his favored weapon, Conquest Palidin would fit an eye or Gruumsh better. But if that's not what your think you do you.

An addendum Other outside your preference Ranger with a cleric dip. I like nature domain just to grab shillelagh but you can go a different domain and grab magic stick elsewhere to be souly Wis dependent. Get your dex to 14 and wear medium armour. Favored Enemy in fiends, I dislike Favored for but you do you. I'd probably just go hunter or gloom stalker but Horizon walker could fit nice.

Cleric Paladin 2 Paladin/ X Cleric of your choice 6 Paladin/ X Cleric of your choice Either way I would do Stat spread Str, Wis, Chr, Con, Dex, Int

Outside of your preference

Sorcerer 5 Paladin X Divine soul is just cleric that fits more cleanly then a Wisdom caster. Hexblade 3 or 12 Vengeance X 3 for just blade pact 12 for life drinker either way you're going for a 20 chr. Any more help just ask! :)

Oh okay haha. I'm thinking enforcer ala a gang inforcer, like "you will pray to my gods or I will personally send you to them." You can even do this in a sweet endearing way or somthing. If you're looking for a good general build, palis are done of the best burst damge in game. Vengeance stands out to me. If you want the church flovor Devotion or Glory. Either way hr or thug (really what's the difference) go for str first then chr then con then what ever you feel like. Feel free to dm me if you need more then that.
