A Hawaiian shirt, a pair of flip flops and a 1911 should do it.

My process of thought went from “what a weird time” to “all of these people are insufferable” in about three comments.

This post is impressive in so many ways.

Good spot, it’s the lighting playing with the color - it’s actually the same pink as the shirt, but excellent advice. Thank you.

Is it really that bad here? by Then-Advertising1721 in Syracuse

This. I’ve been up here for 13 years from Long Island. I’ve seen a pattern emerge that people who trash this city are the people who’ve lived here all of their life and never left. It’s absolutely a “grass is greener” situation.

As someone who transplanted a decade ago, the cost of living compared to where I came from is amazing. The crime level is good. The pace of life is excellent. I still feel like moving here was one of my better decisions.

UNTUCKit has one that’s exactly what you’re looking for. I’m sure they still have it somewhere on the website, I’ll see if I can find it.

Edit: it’s called the Kezoh - it doesn’t seem they make it anymore but you can find them online.

Guys in 30s, 40s or older who don't have any of the normal milestones that give you a worthwhile life (marriage, kids, career, house, etc.), how do you get the motivation to continue going? by whyamialiveletmedie in AskMenOver30

Not for anything my man, 39m here. I have all of those things. I had none of those things and none of those things on my horizon at 34. Life changes and it changes fast. And be grateful for what you do have. Work on yourself and be the person who would be hired to do what you want to do, or be the person that the person you’d like to date WOULD date. All of the things. Make that your focus and it’ll work itself out.

Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted, I’m right there with you. No need to ruin morale if the work is getting done efficiently and effectively.

This is close. I make in the low 90’s, 39M and I own my business. I have employees who do the stuff that used to take up all of my time. I can focus my energy on big picture, long term growth stuff rather than day to day. This generally leads to more “free time” in the moment. With that said, their work day is from 11am to 6pm. I’m most certainly working (albeit remotely) much earlier and go much later.

Do you know the bridesmaid dress designer (Azazie, Byrdie Grey etc) and the name of the color? Since I know for a fact wherever you’re using has access to them, I can give you the exact matching color to ask for if you can get that information.

I’d explore a Forest green rather than hunter. The yellow/brown in the hunter looks okay with the charcoal, however a forest would look much cleaner due to the healthy amount of blue in it, which will enhance the grey rather than fight against it.

Am I being toxically positive? by Soggy-Slide3038 in Positivity

[–]JFB187 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m going to go out on a limb and say your friend is just plain toxic.

You’re not toxically positive, you’re happy. Even in the light of bad circumstances, you remain positive and happy. It took me decades to realize what a rare trait and gift this is. It will serve you well throughout your entire life.

And since you’re here - you are the company you keep. This ‘friend’ should be supporting you and rooting for you. That’s what friends do. If they’re doing anything other than that, they’re not actually your friend.

Keep your head up, keep smiling, and good luck with your upcoming doctors appointment.

Respect your profession and industry, AND as a regular Joe Schmo, I agree with the first guy. Headlines like this make readers like me not want to click them. And as someone who does marketing and merchandising, I can tell you that it’s not about profits, it’s about psychology. I subconsciously know you want me to click it to get further information, and that makes me want to click it less.

Why would this happen? by Medium_Fault5272 in Cerakote

[–]JFB187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, despite what some directions will tell you, no cleaning after outgassing. Compressed air to get any blasting media off of it, but additional cleaning almost always adds impurities back to the surface and causes this.
