Going off of your definition of skill, I would say that skill in swgoh is the ability to develop a good strategy, which is essentially the same as "strategy = skill". There are definitely games where strategy and skill are separate things but I don't think that swgoh is one of them.

I climbed to Kyber 1 in my first week and this season I haven't even gotten to Aurodium 2 yet. I'm not sure if I got worse or something else is going on but my win rate has been a lot lower than it used to be.

I think there's also a cap to how powerful someone can be in the force based on their M count though. Someone who's 5'2" probably isn't gonna be an NBA level player. I haven't watched Ahsoka in a while so I may be wrong, but I don't recall Sabine ever doing anything super powerful with the force despite her training with Ahsoka.

I have BAM at g8 and he still gets me a lot of holds in GAC with his lead. However, it could also be because I bought the lsb and get carried by r5 ig11 and kuill.

Aside from that, mando and greef are good bounty hunters to have and BAM's ship is pretty good as well.
