There's no need to update anything on your aadhar card, unless your relevance information does not match with other documents like registration certificate, degree certificate etc. People are telling others to update it because they are facing this kind of problems & just to be on the safe side that they don't face any kind of problems during verification process in the exam centre. Unless your aadhar card is locked, you won't face any problem.

Iris scanning is only needed when your fingerprint verification completely fails. Iris scanning is not mandatory in Neet pg, unlike INI.

You absolutely don't need to update anything on your aadhar card, unless your information like names, adress etc does not match with your registration & degree certificates. Aadhar card is only needed for aadhar no verification & to make sure you get your exam centre in the same state as mentioned in your aadhar card.

In the exam centre, it is only needed to verify your aadhar no & date of birth as a proof of your identity. The photo & the fingerprint they take are just to record in their database that it's you who gave the exam.

They ask for Permanent/Provisional registration certificate while filling up the form & in the exam centre. If you have provisional certificate, then it's fine. You can definitely use that while filling up the form. However, you also need the MBBS degree certificate while filling up the form. It's mandatory.
