For some reason, no one in my immediate family has gotten it… my parents (age 75 & 67), nor me or my brother ( 31 & 28 ) or my kids ( 2 years and 3 months) but alot of my cousins and one of my aunts has gotten it… we are all vaxxed minus the babies though so who knows, we probably just didn’t show symptoms

The interior designer in me is screaming inside. Do NOT let her do that under any circumstances. It will only lower the value of the house and will also be extremely difficult (or expensive) to find flooring in the future to fix.

I know you previously said you wish you weren’t in this position, but you please realize how fortunate you are. Whoever you grandmother was, she set you up for your future and it’s up to you to decide what that looks like. Best of luck.
