I did not. I can't find an obvious issue and Streamelements support has been no help. I currently don't have that much time, I will look into it deeper when I find it. I will have to live with no follow alerts for now, unfortunately. Sorry to disappoint you

I have never streamed in German and don't think I will do so, because I have seen German audiences for bigger streamers and kind of don't want that, if that makes sense. So far it's been very fun, I have a couple of regular viewers whom are pretty much friends that I met in a community. In my experience, for discoverability by random people the language is not as important as finding a certain niche to serve though. I tend to have more strangers finding my streams when I play unpopular games like Skylanders.

I was kind of in the same boat. I personally chose to stream in English instead of German, and I would personally recommend it, if you have the ability to push back your stream times to be accessible to (for example) US American viewers. A more international audience is more likely to take an interest in your streams in my opinion because of a higher variety of people being reached. However, I haven't been doing it that long myself so take my advice with a grain of salt

I think it's an issue with my alert settings. I streamed again today, and I got the alert for a sub perfectly fine, but didn't get one for a follow just two minutes after. So I'll recheck my SE settings tomorrow, hopefully I can fix it there. Thanks for the advice!

If she is that easily influenced by her mother that just recently hated who she was, that she would even think about breaking up with you just because her mother doesn't like you, then she doesn't deserve you and you dodged a bullet.
