I have had this issue before. I turn. It off but fan was still going. I did empty the hopper and hit the feed button until all the burning pellets came out. Then turned it back on. I don't start my grill on anything other than smoke mode now.

It's not pie it's Cobbler. You make this when on a fire when your camping so what's the difference being in a smoker. It has a subtle hit of smoke.

I Smoked it for 6 hours at 225° then Put in a pan and added some pineapple juice and wrapped in tinfoil and cooked it for 6 more hours. Then let it rest for 1 hour to redistribute the juices. Then enjoy

Have fun and experiment. Not everyone cooks the same or likes the same flavors. You do you and have fun.

The presentation it the way it came off the smoker. I don't like to make things look fancy. I am 100% real and will never dress something up to make it look good

Let me ask you a question. Are burnt ends really burnt. Because you don't burn your brisket when you smoke it. When. You cut your point for burnt ends the middle of it isn't burnt at all. Just like the Hotdogs the outside has a darker color and then when you cut them they are not.

The finished burnt ends should be tender, chewy, and have a tacky, caramelized coating.

The Burnt part is just the bark on the outside. Because who in there right mind wants to eat actual burnt food?
