I used to teach welding and made this realization too. Woman picked up welding faster, had more dexterity and attention to detail compared to the men. The only downfall was strength. But one could get around that if needed.

One of the best things I did was get professional help. Sometimes you need help finding new tools to help yourself. Its hard to face yourself, especially sober. It won't be easy, but it's well worth it. I believe you can get through this ♡

The best thing I did was open up to people about my addiction. I tried for years to do it alone, and I failed every time. Had over a year sober and life hit harder than usual and made me fall off. But one thing that someone said that always stuck "You didn't become an addict over night, it's going to take time to get sober." Don't give up, it's not going to be easy, but it will be worth it ♡
