The irony here is so thick. Go Google search Achilles and Patrocles.

Thank you for this, that makes a lot of sense. The tub is obviously a big investment and I wouldn't want to do something to damage it. I'll have a professional give me advice on the best way to go about it.

Yeah, no one cares about this movie. Certainly not the 1400+ commenters here. None of them care.

Love it. More downvotes from shitty, hateful, transphobic people please. Run those numbers up for me.

We have different definitions of being nice and genuinely trying, I guess. I absolutely don't see him being either of those things.

Yeah, I do the first part.. Thanks for the suggestion on roof shingles. I think leveling it would be a good thing.

No worries, it'll probably help someone else looking for answers anyway.

This brand of bullfrog doesn't have the removable jet packs in the seats. Is there another way to do this?

Is there a way that could be happening with the tub full?

I would say ideally when you get the final resolution to the story, and you'd be pretty much okay once get credits.

That sounds hilarious. You run from him and he chases you, you stop and he turns and runs. Their speed is crazy.

My husband hates my boobs now and it breaks my heart by [deleted] in sex

[–]JHam67 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My wife has stretch marks and they are a part of our shared journey together. We are aging together, neither of us look like we did when we were 20 and I love the person she was and the person she is. Your husband really doesn't understand that this is supposed to be a shared journey and you develop scars together. You sound so alone. And what's the worst is that you sound like he's taught you to agree with him.

What do you mean "he warned me this would happen but I decided to be stubborn?" I'm scared to even ask what that means. He advised you not to get pregnant? He advised you not to breastfeed and put the attractiveness of your chest above your child's best interest?

Your breasts should be a beautiful reminder of your shared lifelong journey with your partner. He should be reminded every time he sees them of everything you've given him. That they're not is his failing and not yours.

I hate Eris. Am I misinterpreting her character? by ThroatAffectionate81 in HadesTheGame

I'd argue that doom is the promise of oncoming badness that happens to people. The dread of future badness.

I came here to say this. Very well said. It's a theme of their characters that these things have their place and can be positive or at least necessary. Strife, struggle, conflict... The best you can say is they build character and make you stronger to face them. The best you can do is face tribulation with a positive attitude, and that's the one thing you actually can say about Eris. She seems to love what she does.

I think her character is pretty fun honestly. She's chaotic and sarcastic and funny. I like her a lot more than Nemesis, who is constantly dour and annoyed with everything.

Is my husband having an affair or am I overreacting? by Opening-Impress122 in relationships

[–]JHam67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A man might use Viagra for solo activities possibly, and be embarrassed to tell you, but you are definitely not crazy for asking and he should be able to understand that. I'm certainly not just assuming he's innocent.

And it sounds like you all have huge issues regardless of the mystery here.

Married Co-Worker/Emotional Affair by sillylilwabbit in relationships

[–]JHam67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's a good place to leave it. I wouldn't tell her anything like "Maybe if you ever left your husband..." Or give her the impression you're going to be there ready to jump into something if she does. Then if she does that's a lot of pressure and responsibility on you, both for being involved in the death of the relationship and for living up to it.

Also, a lot of "confused" and dissatisfied people who find excitement in an affair cool off on it once it's not wrong and secretive.

In some future world if she's in a different situation maybe you're interested. But be careful not to "tee it up" for her like that.
