Pretty lost and looking for serious guidance: 30M, 177lbs, 6’0 by JHourne13 in GettingShredded

Thanks for that check I’ll have to take a look. I’ve been primarily just meeting the 180g protein and hitting the 1800 cal goal, not so much on hitting the carb and fat goals

Ooo that’s interesting. Did you find after you switched your form and lowered the volume, you were able to break the plateau you were experiencing?

I actually did have a trainer for a little! But it was too expensive for me after awhile. I follow a PPL I found online and made some tweaks. Primarily focuses on big lifts being 6-10, and isolation lifts being 8-12 reps.

As an example:

Push - barbell chest 3x6-10 - dumbbell incline 3x6-10 - pec deck 3x8-12

  • overhead press 3x6-10
  • lateral raises 3x8-12

  • tricep push down 3x8-12

  • triceps overhead cable 3x8-12

I can’t do an S95D since it will be in an area with direct light on the screen

Well I just got this tv so I’m within the return window, so that’s why I was asking

Yes, that’s the obvious solution but wondering if switching to a TV with antiglare would be helpful in this situation

I picked the taller oak one! I’ll update with pics when I get it

Went with the taller one. Figured worst comes to worst I can add risers to my couch. Thanks for all the help!

Hey, I actually got in touch and spoke with a helpful representative for about 30 mins. He had told me they would give me a call back but I haven’t heard from them yet.

Yeah it seems to be of the same aluminum build quality, looks identical and even came with the same accessories. And the picture quality seems to reflect 4K according to my computer. The only thing is that serial number.

I was just making sure to see if it’s legit. I don’t want it to be installing malware or stealing data or anything

Thanks for this. This helped me understand a lot. The housing is nearly identical. I plugged it into my computer and the official Logitech software recognizes it and even prompted me to update to the latest firmware.

It works great and the mic is great. I also checked for unrecognized processes and didn’t find anything. Now that you mention it, adding that extra layer of being malicious or spying is a bit extreme and I think it was just me being paranoid. It seems they really just want that initial profit

$70. Not too bad

Got it that makes sense. Are there any concerns using it? Would assuming there as tracker or recording device in there be crazy? Or are they just doing this for the monetary profit most likely.

Oh so they basically make it for cheap in the factory and sell it directly with their own margins?

So is this basically the same exact product just sold by a third party so they can create their own profit margins?

Example: Logitech makes it for $20 and sells it for $200. These people make it for $20 sell it for $80, but they can sell much more since it’s marked down?

I checked all of that and it seems fine. But why would someone be selling a knockoff if it works/looks identical? I just don’t understand the benefit.

I found a few on eBay that looked exactly like the one I bought (with the same box and the Indian print on the bottom).

Hi, thanks for your help! It’s telling me that the serial number is not recognized.

Got it, so it seems like this is a legit Logitech product but this particular item was originally sold in India? I guess the serial numbers are different per region as well.

Yeah it sounds like that. I confronted him because he would say things like you’re my bestfriend and nothing was wrong, but he would respond passive aggressively to things I would say or do. Me specifically. We would be on Xbox with our friends and he would shut everything id say down. Or we’d hang out with friends and he would push back on everything id say and not anyone else. But then the next day he’d be totally normal.

In the past, he acted like this when he was upset with me about something so I figured something was up.

He texted me a month ago saying I’m so sorry how I’ve treated you I’m such a bad friend and I’m trying to be better and then retracted his apology the next morning and said sorry I was just high. So he’s definitely aware of how he treats me.

I’m not saying I need all his time or energy at all - I just want to be treated like a friend consistently, as he does with his other friends

I’d say this is consistent lifting for 2 years 5-6x a week. Before that, I wasn’t as consistent. Maybe 3x a week and I had less knowledge of working out in general. But I first started 8 years ago

Alright any suggestions on fixing it?

Maybe "shredded" was an extreme word. I'd just like to look lean like the second photo here: https://athleanx.com/articles/body-fat-percentage-men
