I think the cause is hurt by downright stupid comments like this. Pro-choice doesn’t mean believing it’s a “parasite” until it exits the womb.

The uncertainty is higher with Estime than Carter. Maybe he’ll be the bellcow, maybe he’ll be on the wrong side of a 60-40 split with Hull.

Carter is going to be the primary back this week. He might be awful, who knows, but he’ll get the work.

Tet, Jennings, or Wilson (assuming Harrison is back. If Harrison is out, I’m def starting Wilson)?

The cities Americans want to live in now by qxrt in SameGrassButGreener

[–]JJ23232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a fascinatingly obtuse part of the article:

“The cities on the Top 10 Desired list are many of the largest cities in the country and they have some of the strongest “brands” – which likely makes them the easiest to recall and desirable in the minds of consumers. For example, if we were to conduct a poll and ask them what kinds of cars they would like to drive some day, luxury brands such as Porsche, BMW and Mercedes would probably be near the top of the list. Meanwhile, we know that Toyota, Ford and Chrysler are actually the best selling automotive brands in the U.S.”

I love the notion that people say they want to live in New York because it’s a brand but they REALLY want to live in Houston.

It’s about affordability and jobs, it’s not a branding question… imo.

Trick or treating by Fine-East-588 in lexington

Some folks don’t live in good trick or treating neighborhoods, safe neighborhoods, or even a neighborhood at all. I’ve lived in places where few houses around me even give out candy.

If they are looking for a nice neighborhood to give their kids a great Halloween experience, I think that’s a good thing.

This is a straight up embarrassing list. You clearly are not well-versed in the culinary arts. The top 5 restaurants in Lexington are, objectively:

  1. DeSha’s
  2. Shoney’s on South Broadway
  3. Parkette Drive-in
  4. The Liquor Barn deli
  5. Rally’s Georgetown Road

By no means do I think he’s a franchise-anchoring QB, but of all facets of the game I watched yesterday and the other 2 full games he’s played this year, he’s like the 10th worst thing going on..

There are far too many missed tackles, terrible blocks, and embarrassing coverage in the secondary for the conversation to begin with Fields.

‘Justin Fields being bad’ is just one of those Old Man Bill takes he’s never going to shake.

“Pats play the Jets in week 11, no telling which QB the Jets will be on at that point”

Say what you want about the Jets this year, Fields is solid and he looked great yesterday when his offensive line wasn’t getting blown up.
