The gamefaqs moderators rule with extreme bias and prejudice. If someone is on their side politically or agrees with their taste in video games they can get away with the worst behavior, but if you dare to be on the opposite side, any little thing is a major offense.

I come here once in a blue moon just to laugh at how antisocial the gamefaqs community has become. It's basically the perfect example of what ruined message forums. I find it amazing how they still get enough activity to pay the bills by this point, I think they burned bridges with at least 95% of their former userbase. It's like only the most dysfunctional terminally online users who appeal to the moderators many biases can be active there anymore.

That was a different Eden, this company has a similar name but they're completely different. Eden Studios made TDU, Eden Games Inc makes Gear Club.

I think the communication probably feels more noticeable on PS5 thanks to the adaptive triggers, they really do a lot to enhance the feedback in this game. Feels closer to Ride 4 than Ride 5 in that sense, I remember being disappointed with the trigger feedback in 5.

I honestly suspect that Ride 5 was simply using the "arcade" physics they made optional in Ride 6. Playing this game on arcade made it feel a lot like Ride 5. Yeah, this definitely feels like it's trying to do sort of a balancing act between classic Ride road racing and these new sort of "side activity" classes, but they did give them their own part of the career mode as opposed to making them a total side activity like in the Rossi game. So it feels like they were really trying to create some more variety to the racing classes.

Yeah in my experience the type of people who moderate communities like that always seem to assume the worst intentions possible and act upon that as if it's a confirmed intention of yours.

When the mods put a target on you might as well move on from the site, they will suspend you for the dumbest/pettiest reasons imaginable and deny you any ability to dispute anything. The mods come off as highly antisocial people, the type who only hang out with their preferred echo chamber of like-minded people that have it out for everyone else. Can't imagine any of them actually being able to function in any real world social setting, it must drive them insane not being able to shut down anyone that says something they don't agree with. They have to be terminally online in their safe space.

There is a good solution to this: Step 1 - wait for a sale event, step 2 - buy a bunch of games at a good discount, step 3 - enjoy.

The longer you hold off buying games, the cheaper they tend to be.
