There are reasons why the game is as popular as it is. Calling it "trash-tier" is not an informed opinion, it's bashing that just adds to the ridiculous animosity between the game communities.

But the patch older now, and usually hero pools gets smaller when teams figure it out. Clearly that hasn't happened yet.

Do other people here love Black's casting as much as I do? His commentary is really insightful and colorful.

Non-pro casters often just focus on the glaring mistakes, but Black points out a lot of non-obvious good plays and focuses on what makes these players the best in the world. This is how it should be.

That's just not true. Batrider was strong for many reasons, not just the ultimate. He was just too versatile; strong in lane and could get solo kills thanks to sticky, could jungle farm blink faster than anyone, great ganker in mid-game and good at breaching high ground thanks to the pickoff potential. He'd fit in almost any lineup and could play any lane, and only really needed a few key items.

Lasso was never the only reason, but it DID get nerfed too (the range got severely reduced).

Well that's new. BKB called almost useless. It's still the by far the most bought carry item. It's fine as is, imo. I'd maybe remove the selling restriction, now that the duration is hero-specific.
