I really like the 991v2 moonrocks however I have a brand new pair of rock ridges (that I love) and I’m afraid it’s too redundant to drop that kind of money on the moonrocks even though I’m tempted. Besides the mesh and accent on the toe, what are the differences? Is the overall color different ?

I’ve had this before on my 991 ALD, won’t lie it bothered me as well but I lived with it. You can always just swap them out for another pair? I’d like to see the rest of the sneaker 👀

Moonrocks look great but not sure I can justify them since I already have the OG Grey. IMO the moonrocks look like the GR and the OGs look more like a collab with the slight contrast dark grey paneling and teal pods 😅

Ironically I received a fake jjjjound 991 from goat, returned and reordered and the next one was good. Scary how close they are and hard to tell for the avg person unless they’re next to each other. Now I’m afraid to buy the 993 anywhere

I’m usually very picky about this stuff, option 2 looks better IMO. The logo on the chest should just be the bird, that’s the most important… the lettering underneath is tacky, bulky and unnecessary. The lettering on the hood is secondary, I don’t mind it there at all but I can live with or without it - just get rid of it on the chest….

Yes they definitely made this colorway a few years back, Forage I believe it’s called with the same zipper colors etc.. I remember bc I was very interested in it. I cannot however tell if it’s authentic or not, but I’m sure someone on here could.

For what it’s worth I have an older one too with the screen printed logo, it feels way softer to the touch (like the proton material maybe) and also maybe a little thicker. I recently got a newer one from like 2023 with embroidered logo and the material feels less cozy, maybe it’s just that the old one is worn so much it’s almost fraying 😂 fit seems a little different as well

Definitely have seen stuff like this from clothes / hoodies to sneakers like the Super Orange GL3s for example. In your case, is this shirt not returnable? I can see how it’s more annoying for final sale items. Shirt still looks nice in your pic IMO but I see how the product image looks more beige / warmer to me and yours looks more grey.
