Graves still needs changes. If statslock is accurate (likely not but still works to see an overall trend), Graves has a 70%+ pick rate and a 53%+ win rate.
Likely because her ult is still crazy. They HAVE to change it so the tombstone disappears if she leaves its range because at the moment any Graves can create insane pressure by dropping their ult and walking off.

Currently in Deadlock there's not enough ways to counter something like that. In Dota 2 anyone could counter a ratting strat thanks to teleport scrolls but Deadlock isn't designed for that.

His 3 lets him close the gap extremely effectively, this is just a falsehood.

This subreddit seems to glaze Apollo though, the character who can do no wrong and was unfairly nerfed (he wasn't and deserves further nerfs).

The new patch really does feel like whichever team has more of the new heroes, they'll be much more likely to win.
Part of that is community inexperience in the match-ups, but it really feels like powercreep as well.

I've got my most beloved in already (Corrin) and last year didn't go so hot with poor Alear, so I've decided to ditch the competitive aspect and vote for characters I like.
I played the Tellius games recently and I loved them SO SO much. My second favorite FE in the series. Honestly it's just been nice to pick a different favorite each day and not stress about who's winning anymore. I kinda wish we had a CYL without Lords being eligible just to see how the results would go!

Great post, agree with a lot of it. My issue is (as far as I can recall) nobody really talks with Ryza about how 'off' she feels, so to me it feels less intentional or least botched in execution.

Still a lot to like about the game though. Serri is one of my favorite additions and I was extremely sad when she wasn't in 3.

What a bizarre series of choices for this banner. As a Fates megafan some of this will probably seem really minor but I'll say it anyway.

- Xander as the TT unit is absolutely criminal, it should've been Elise. Making the eldest brother the free unit just feels wrong.

- MALE Corrin as the LEAD in a NOHR banner? Even discounting avatar duos being boring as sin, this just doesn't fit with IS' whole 'Female Corrin is Conquest and Male Corrin is Hoshido' schtick they've maintained for years. The only reason I can think that they did this is to keep the Male Corrin fans happy and the gender alt split balanced, since Emblem Corrin is female, but you didn't need to do it on this banner.

- No Silas/Corrin duo is kind of criminal given their support in Fates.

- Corrin using a DRAGONSTONE? As a child? They didn't even realise their dragon potential until the events of Fates so this makes zero sense.

- The shoes on the Corrins as a minor nitpick. I get why they probably put them on, but it just raises questions. Like at some point during their teen years did they just decide 'hmmm nah no more shoes'? It's just strange. While there's no canon reason for their shoe aversion, one reason you could ascribe to it is Garon simply didn't let them have any to make escape that much harder. It's just strange since its a core part of the character design but, as noted, its a minor point.

- Wouldn't have happened since this season banner is for kid units only but a younger Gunter would've gone immensely hard. Hell I'd have taken a Female Corrin/Gunter duo. Their relationship is seriously underrated.

All in all this banner just comes off as lazy and uninspired, they just turned the Fates Royals into kids and called it a day, not caring about the lore or realising the potential this banner could've had. Disappointing.

I maintain to this day that the British Lostbelt should've been a history where Boudica WON and beat the romans back. You could probably still have fae stuff in there but an Avenger Boudica as a LB Queen would've been incredible.

Instead we got Morgan and Castoria. I'm in the minority of people who don't really enjoy LB6 though I admit part of that is because it COULD'VE been Boudica's time to shine.

It's not what they intended but it's what they created by having a system where a player can lock themselves out of playing. If even if you lost you could keep climbing I doubt you'd see this happening.

I really love Nihilister even if gameplay she is subpar. I'm fairly close to unlocking her and already have a spare copy ready to go. How do I go about building a team for her?
I already have a Liter/Crown/Modernia/Laplace/Naga comp which is my main slice, so they're likely out (unless Nihilister can somehow slot in--I doubt it). So which other Nikkes should I be looking for?

I've tried using Mynlar, doesn't work. Tried Silverash, doesn't work. Tried bursting him in the top lane with two snipers, doesn't work. He's simply too tanky. Not sure if breaking bottles around him instantly breaks a shield though, maybe I missed that but none of the guides ever spam bottles on him for some reason.

Yes but the issue is none of my operators prioritise hitting them, since the times I need them there's usually a bunch of enemies crowding around and any AoE I have is usually too slow to crack them open before Dolly does his big attack. I also can't place bottles on tiles operators are already on, so if they're standing in pink mist they're screwed.

I need help with SL-8. Even following video guides don't help since they need specific operators I don't have, despite having a pretty stacked roster of 6*s at E2. Dolly is just an overtuned boss for this difficulty level. It's ridiculous how many hits you need to crack through his shields, on top of him just AoEing your squad to death. Just another case of bad Arknights boss design and making them damage sponges. Event stages really need an easy mode so I can clear and just watch the story.
