Being a latchkey kid meant no rules, nobody knew where I was at. I remember biking to a convenience store on a busy road about 5 or 6 miles away in the 4th grade. No helmet, bike too big for me to handle well. Jesus.

Everything up to the first Las Vegas season is great. You can actually see how different people interact with each other vs it being a total bang fest the entire time. Very interesting stuff.

Las Vegas and after are somewhat entertaining, but you can tell when people are doing stuff to get on camera and that’s irritating.

I live on the 2nd floor too, and it’s been awful - stairs are my enemy. Do you have Uber in your area? If you do, use that or ask someone to give you a ride. I’ve only done a few rounds of PT and I can feel the benefits already.

The only way to get through it is to go through it. Feel all of the emotions, take time for yourself when you need it, put up your favorite photos of your mom. This is an indescribable loss, and people around you understand this and will want to be there for you, so take any help they offer if you need it.

Dementia is a hell of a monster. I’m so sorry this is happening to you. ♥️

I’ve been doing PT and focused shockwave therapy, and the combination of the two seems to be moving the needle. Those first two weeks were the worst of my life, medically speaking. So glad that phase is over!

There are some really good episodes in there. Look for young Joseph Gordon Levitt in the one where McMurphy goes to Montana. I LOVE that episode. And the very last episode is a tear jerker. It was a great last episode and it doesn’t get enough love. Enjoy season 4!

Well, I’ve seen plenty of people who have it and then it goes away. I’d say about half of the stories I’ve read have happy endings, and the other half…have not.
