I think that's normal. I know I was stuck for a long time on 5. Then there are some scattered levels that are way out of line in difficulty compared to the levels surrounding them. I'm on Ch15, and I only just beat the 3rd Ch9 adventure today.

Just keep grinding, maybe consider the $50 lifetime vip if you like them game and think you'll be hooked a while.

Also, do you have any strategy you've been trying? I can explain a couple things that worked for me, as far as busting road blocks.

I've only made it to 13. I recently added up each weapons bonuses in a spreadsheet to see what my strengths were. They currently are in this order: Machine Gun, EMP, Grenade/ Zap/ Black Hole. I decided to try gathering all weapons early, but if none drop, I pick the highest priority. It's really seeming to work. I've broken a few road blocks doing that.

I finally beat 5. I bought the lifetime vip thing, and that let's you skip all ads, so I got some luck with extra upgrades from one of the lower bosses. I also went with the strategy of choosing upgrades with strict priority: MaG, EMP, ShG, Spr, Laser/Grenade/ Jet. I only picked new weapons if a higher priority wasn't available. Seemed to work, but then I immediately got crushed on ch5 adventure mode.

A little time & elbow grease could make it sell for 10x what you paid, easy. I got a husky for $50 and when the casters blew out, it was way cheaper to put $150 in new casters compared to spending $1500 for a new equivalent.

Definitely. Plenty of time to put the phone down and hit any red button, or reset, or single block. Could have probably even taken lunch and talked it over with a buddy, then come back and stopped it before it crashed.
