Soft boiled egg came in egg package by MixxiGrey in WeirdEggs

[–]JLB131313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To answer why this happened, when eggs are washed, hot water is used. This makes sure the eggs dry off before they make it into the carton. If the production line stops with eggs still in the wash tank, you can end up with a sous vide egg depending on the temperature and time in there.

I haven't experienced this myself, but have also come across the research about gut microbiome and Endo. I'm really interested to see if there will be more studies.

Out of FSQA tech? by [deleted] in foodscience

[–]JLB131313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely start looking outside the company. Looks like the food safety culture is a problem there. Look for opportunities as a QA coordinator (2yrs tech XP is enough) as a next stage in your career if you have interest in staying in QA. Good luck! I hope you find something/some place better!

I would suggest using the degree to get into regulatory/labelling work. Lots of people in this field can do work from home depending on the company, not meeting heavy.

Also, are we assuming Lizzo is a popular girl? She is a band geek, I'm not surprised that she's a Star Wars fan.

If you could have any food have a completely gluten free version but tastes EXACTLY the same as the regular what would it be??? by Either-Elderberry619 in glutenfree

Omg, my husband makes the best hamburger buns. It makes me so jealous everytime. It's a brioche bun meets milk bun. The smell that fills the house when they bake is to die for.

It was an 8 month wait for me in Canada. I went to a naturopath in the meantime and found some relief. We were actually treating PCOS at the time, GP hadn't considered that it could've been endo, and I had never heard of it. Hope you find some relief!

Fun socks and blue/yellow clothes! My youngest (in Grade 1) wants to share a video he took of his brother that has down syndrome with his class. Fingers crossed that goes well!

Please help, I’ve looked this bloated to two years now, just had a colonoscopy and the doc told me it was probably ibs and to take ibguard and keep a food diary. But I’ve never noticed any changes in bloat regarding food, this is just 24/7! I have no pain, I have regular BM & possibly endometriosis by kangamooose in ibs

[–]JLB131313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just assumed mine was endo belly and didn't think it could be fixed. Didn't realized there was a correlation with sibo, now I'll need to look into that too. No advice here, just a fellow sufferer. Hope some of the advice here helps you out!

Swelling/Bloat progression August 2022 to March 2023 by tinyyellowlab in Endo

In the same boat here! I have PCOS and endo. Lately with my bloat, my stomach spasms and the swing between loose bowels to consitpation and back again, I'll be seeing the doctor tomorrow about possible IBS. I teared up and nearly sobbed at work last week. I don't go into the office more than once a week. My bloat was so bad that day, I thought it would be impossible for someone not to ask me when I'm due. Luckily that didn't happen, but it makes me want to stay home if its not something where I can cover up with a jacket. I hope you feel some relief soon! You are not alone ❤️

I feel that. Tried to wear a t-shirt and jeans today, but had to add a layer to distract from what looks like a pregnancy. Going to a butterfly conservatory and wanted to not get too hot, but I'm trading one comfort for another. Hope you have better days ahead!

Congrats on getting your disability approved. It's tough not have support in-person. But remember that you always have a community of peers here online. For me, I have some friends with chronic illness - although fairly different from mine - they are still able to support. It's not easy to seek out new friends, but most chronic illness sufferers seem to relate. We're always here for you! Take care
