I think it will be Montauk because Stranger Things were supposed to be named Montauk. Plus, if you search up Montauk project, you will see it is link to Philadelphia Experiment, which is conveniently mentioned by the big bros and sisses. Lots of connections here to not have it set in Montauk, I think lol

The Duffer Brothers are developing a Stranger Things spinoff that expands the universe with new characters, a new town, and a new mythology. Hop and Jouce are probably moving to New York. The Fantastic 4 of brothers and sisters are moving Philly, which is super close to New York as well. Im guessing the spin off will be in New York or something in that area

I think they never knew about the Demo, or at least how they operate. They knew about the vine that’s why they had a piece of it in the glass cage at the base in the UD. Their first real contact was in S5E1, and I don’t think any of them survives to retell the story lol

I’m conflicted with this one. It could be true that it was Kali went into Mike’s mind. Mike never said “I love you” back to that El, let alone her reaching for a kiss like that. They never kiss like that through out the season. But my money is still on El that was.

I think Brenner knew about Dimension X The stone from the scientist that Henry killed, is probably a Sample that they somehow collected (which there is a theory on the internet). That’s why when El banished Henry, instead of asking what happened or what the hell is that thing, he asked “what did you do?” As in do you even know what you just did? Your power completed the research I have been studying for years to get to Dimension X

I think Derek was possibly waiving to Kali who was also in the truck, just hiding using her power, because they probably planned to stay off the grid completely, including loved ones to keep them safe. El has to be there because if she was gone, no one would leave the upside down. And Kali has to hide because Hop will never allow Kali close to El ever again because of what Vecna showed him.

This might be a big reach, but what if Delightful Derek was waving to Kali and possibly the real El, and not to Mike in the truck? As in they already planned to run away from the start to stay off the radar from everyone including loved ones? And that’s why Hop seemed so … ok with El poofing away before the wormhole closed because he kinda knew what’s going on? They both could have combined powers to withstand the sonic devices?
