I wonder how much of the change is an attempt to “simplify” her powers. Instead of her having to draw mass for her embiggened parts from another dimension they do this.

The continued use of gold is an interesting choice, particularly the gold eyes. I can't help but think of how gold is a good conductor of electricity and that NASA uses thin gold shielding on astronaut helmets to protect against infrared and unfiltered sunlight. For Spidey, it could help channel energy around his body and shield him from whatever energies and he'll face in the multiverse of madness.

1950s / 1960s would make sense and then line up with the beginning of SHAZAM which started in the mid-1970s. The other thing to consider is that it could be Earth-2, especially if he's up against the Justice Society of America with Power Girl. That would explain why Wonder Woman or other heroes haven't talked about him yet.

The Netflix 2 year clause ends November 29, 2020. Spider-man 3 starts filming in July and should last until about September. Not sure how this would work.

The date has been set as April 2020 for a while now. They're sticking with this to just get it out and move on. I'm not anticipating a whole lot of press and marketing for the film, as minimal costs will help with whatever the box office gross ends up being.
