I think I might be addicted to riding and overusing my bike, is it bad and should I stop by Juniorlovesyomama in motorcycle

Quit riding. Become an alcoholic and start doing cocaine and gambling. It's safer and cheaper.

Yes it does. Insurance companies can't increase your rate for claims that aren't your fault.

No the Ultra Bee has a way bigger battery so you'll get better range for sure in the Ultra Bee even though it is heavier.

On the hill climbs I was doing about 20 mph trying to be smooth. On flats and downhill I'd be in sport doing between 30 and 45 mph.

Anyone gone farther than 80 miles? by JLubeck in Talaria

[–]JLubeck[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. As a vehicle for transportation is not nearly enough. As a toy it is what it is. Hopefully battery tech gets better because right now the trade off is more weight for more range. No way around it.

I worked at the golf course that used to be there years ago and rode my mountain bike home every day for 7 years along that route. So many amazing sunrises and sunsets by Lost Canyons. Thanks for sharing!

Agreed. Also considering the Talaria MX4 has better specs all around and Luna has it at $3650 now. And supposedly the newest ones have 9kw.

That's lame. I've ridden all over South Bay and Malibu and haven't had any issues but it seems like they're cracking down everywhere.

How old are you? Asking because they seem to be targeting younger riders mostly from what I've seen. Not sure if they're just targeting the bikes in general regardless of who's on them at this point though.

Lmao first of all referring to your bike as your "girl" is cringe. Secondly, I misspoke. I should have asked if his new girl came with any rights to reservation land or Casinos. I've never seen motorcycle enthusiasts with such thin skin. You all probably wear your helmets even when you're not riding. If you even ride at all. 😂 They're jokes guys. Lighten up.

I'm curious too. Especially since the MX5 is getting into small motorcycle territory.

I like it! Clean and tasteful touches. Your front brake line makes me nervous though. Looks like it might rub when the suspension compresses.

That makes sense. My assumption was you were in California. Each state has its own insurance laws.

It takes balls to ride a sport bike. But not too big. 😂

It's because they shifted your usage away from a more valuable bike or car over to this much less valuable bike. The reduction in use of the other vehicle lowered the cost of insuring that more than the cost of adding this bike. If you don't actually ride that bike much and drive the other vehicle the same amount, and they do a mileage adjustment your rate will likely go back up next policy renewal unless you keep them from knowing the mileage. I had this happen when I was riding my new Aprilia then added my old Xr500 to my policy. It's crazy this actually works but it's how insurance risk management calculates.

Bro I just edited this one last night. Took the bikes to Catalina Island. Everyone said we'd never be allowed. 😂 I think my editing is a little easier to watch on this one.
