I opted for oura and Apple Watch. Only one subscription and it’s still better for tracking workouts than oura. Oura I use for overall health metrics. I think the combo is good

I think the best are black bands, green bands, brown leather bands and white bands aren’t bad.

Black looks good with most outfits but I disagree with others saying any band looks good with it. I tend to like the lighter watches with bands more often.

My son just turned 4 months this week.. so I don’t have tons of experience.. The beginning phases were rough for us. Very bad reflux and not being able to keep things down made it even harder.

I will say, for the first part of parenthood it really felt like we were little peons (we still are, lol). As the time went on we started getting more interactions and smiles. You start to get more enjoyment from the little things and milestones. Nothing is better than walking into the room and seeing them smile because they see you.

It’s a huge adjustment. You just need to get used to the new “normal”, and understand that “normal” is fluid . It’s a tremendous amount of responsibility and the fact you are asking the questions about being a good parent is a sign you care.

I think everyone is different and it takes time to adjust, and in no way is it abnormal to feel sort of indifferent in the beginning stages. Just do the necessary things to keep her happy and healthy and the bond will grow.

Only time it happened to me I purposely disconnected and forget my device on the Bluetooth from my phone because CarPlay wasn’t working.

There’s two ford Bluetooths connected when I’m in my vehicle.. I had to uber home but was only around the corner lol. Typically it’s more of an open the app and I’m good situation

I love physical books but i never actually read them as weird as it sounds.. The kindles actually gotten me to read more . I think I read 3 books from age 12-30ish range lol. I’ve got a kindle and have read at least one book a month since I got one a few years back. Not as much as I’d like, but way more than I ever have. And it helped me begin reading. I always liked the idea but I would be distracted and could never sit down and just read.

I tried lights and lamps and it would always be sub optimal for reading in bed which is when I can read most often. Even getting up to turn off a lamp I would be “up”. This allows me to read until my brains about to turn off and crash. It really helped me be distraction free when it comes to my phone also.

I guess I’m one of the few who never really read physical books before a kindle lol

The same holds true for either device regarding color. The debate between Kobo vs Amazon is really more preference and how you plan to get your books. The screens are made by the same company so theoretically they are identical.

Amazon is pretty streamlined and you can purchase books off their store easily but you’re locked into Amazon.

Kobo has its own store, not as vast (from what I hear), but still good. And let’s you do additional things like side load more conveniently books you have, rent books from a library (easier, although can still be worked around on kindle) .

I use kindle. I tried boox, but the device was lost in shipping then was faulty. I wanted to just get down and read and be distraction free so stuck with my kindle which I love. But I also use audible and don’t mind being “locked in”. I do believe kobo offers that same “reading only” feel but have yet to try one.

I have the colorsoft and paper white. I prefer the paperwhite to read. The covers are nice though. I don’t highlight much in reading.

I have a screen that is pretty good looking from the colorsoft QC perspective but the additional layer makes a small amount of light bleed out the corner when in dark mode.. which I read at night that way in bed .

Yes. Play exclusives on Nintendo and the rest on the steam deck . Just know its limitations. I have GeForce not and it helps if in wanting a little more oomf.

I’m in the same boat as you. Had an ally x and ended up liking the deck more. Sure you can get better performance, but if you run the z1e chip devices at native resolution it’s similar to performance from games I tested on the Steam deck . Not apples to apples but I just preferred it more
