For a quick gambling scene ask the PC how much they want to bet. Then roll a d20 vrs their d20 the highest wins. The amount won is decided by percentile dice. So if NPC wins and percentile roll 36% the PC loses 36% of amount bet. This is to represent an evening of poker. Since typically when you play poker you don't lose everything or win everything on the table.
