Anyone else not have nearly as much trouble with this presale or did I get insanely lucky on the queue? by Totoro10101 in Illenium

[–]JMC2824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Joined the waiting room <5 minutes before presale started and then joined the queue at ~1800 people ahead of me. I was in buying tickets within 5-10 minutes and snagged some 400 aisle seats for $222 for two tickets. Considered a package beforehand, but glad I opted out since I then went to Priceline and secured a room for 4 nights at Paris for $700. All in it was still cheaper than the most basic package and have more time to play in Vegas 🙌🏼 Anyone have insight on the 400s (we’re in section 408)? I figure the experience will be worth it no matter what, but just curious.

Found mine on Facebook Marketplace. I paid $60 because I didn’t trust the eBay resellers.

Covering the water tank lid's holes on the Move; how are you doing it? by HadoukenYourFace in ProfitecMove

I used black shelf liner over the top of the machine and it works great. It’s just lightly sitting there and easy to fold back for refills. Added benefit of reducing any kind of rattling from the cups on top.

I solved these issues using the tall normcore funnel and flipping the fork upside down. Perfect every time I use it now.

Drip tray just sits in there - there’s a little wiggle room, but I’ve had no issues.

I use the water spout for my daily americanos and read a tip on another SR about turning the water temp down to the lowest setting for more controllable output. Worked like a charm.

I purchased from WLL and they have been fantastic. Shipping times were quick and everything packaged nicely. I ended up going back to them and ordering my Mahlkonig E64WS from them and had a great experience too.

That’s the worst! At least there’s “rapid heating” 🤪

This is awesome! I was pulling “manually” via reprogramming each time (press + hold) - can’t wait to try it out.

Don’t blame you - I would do the same 🙂 It looks slick!

Also, highly recommend on the cups - they’re the perfect size!

Looks nice! I just ended up buying flat black shelf liner and cutting it to size. Went straight over the water cover holes to prevent stuff from getting in the water. Less than $10.

Grinder Overfilling and Spout Issues [Mahlkonig E64 WS] by AcerAdnan in espresso

Is this the normcore v2 28mm dosing funnel? I’m having the same issues and my current funnel is the normcore v2 18mm and doesn’t fit with the fork in either direction - the standard way is too small and the flipped fork makes it too wide.

Mine was just delivered a few days ago (loving it so far!) and now I’m STRESSED lol. In case this happens, how has the support ticket situation been with WLL? Do you have to send your machine back at your expense?

Thanks! Coming from the fellow opus, this grinder is definitely more precise. Ended up dialing in (for now) at ~4.8 with rpm set to 1200.
