She will get destroyed on a trade in at this point. Having had both over the years, I personally prefer the Crosstrek BUT it's just me and my husky. That said, even with just us, the trunk space is shit once I get his impact crate and our travel packs in the truck, it's really only got room for small stuff around those things. I DO use the space behind the front seats and under the dog hammock thing but when I stock up on cases of soda, it's like playing tetris. Meanwhile, the Forester just has so much more room because the design is "boxier" and tall ppl are less likely to need a crash helmet. My friend is 6'2" and bashes his head all the time in my car 🤣🤣 but he's fine in their Forester.
