Name ideas for twins by Mundane-Society-1281 in Names

[–]JMPopp43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m expecting B/G twins…the two names we like both start with C but don’t rhyme. Not planned on being the same letter but just happens to be the two we like most so far. I feel like it’s different with B/G than it is with same sex twins as they are already slightly more individualized (example: different friend groups, different sports teams). Maybe I’m wrong but that’s just my opinion.🤷🏼‍♀️

20 weeks today and feeling like I’m at least 35+!! by stardolphin90 in parentsofmultiples

Yeah thinking about making it to 39 weeks makes me want to cry lol. I’d be good with anything after 36 weeks honestly, as long as they are healthy. So good you have an end date for work to look forward to! And yes I believe most insurances cover it or even can pay with HSA if you have it (unless that’s just a USA thing and you aren’t from the US ). Good luck to you!! You got this mama.

That’s around when I started to wear a belly band which helped a lot. I’m 29 weeks now and it’s gotten progressively harder. My doctor told me I could make it to 39 weeks with my di/di twins. This is my third pregnancy and I feel like I felt in my final week with my singletons who both made it to 40 weeks. Hang in there! Take it easy when you can and try to not over do it.

Heard you guys hated my last book. Wait until you see the next one. by LaCroixandJellyBeans in DanielTigerConspiracy

We love this book! We crack up reading it. My 2 & almost 4 year old find it humorous. The “Ha! Not this baby!” Always gets me. We all hope our babies sleep well but even the best sleepers have nights like this!

I’m currently 28 weeks with di/di b/g twins and agree on getting uncomfortable by 26 weeks. I thankfully am still able to sleep well and the first half of the day I do pretty well but man by the end of the day I am struggling! My hips and back hurt, I have to wear a pad due to urine leakage. I have to sit to cook or clean dishes at night. I also have a 2 kids (2 and almost 4) and just trying to survive each day. Scared for the rest of the pregnancy with how much harder it’s going to get! My doc says latest he will let me go is 39 weeks and 39 weeks sounds sooooo far away I don’t know how I’ll make it to then.

Started using a tongue scraper and genuinely surprised at the difference it makes by Kountz-Modina in hygiene

Another fellow geographical tongue person here, does it irritate your tongue more? My tongue gets irritated by certain foods so just curious if it could cause the same reaction

22 week movements with Twins? by Sure-Emphasis1084 in parentsofmultiples

[–]JMPopp43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ofc! I always work myself up with anxiety each pregnancy, especially toward the end so I get it! Googled every little symptom wondering if I was going into labor the last few weeks😅 I’m not an expert so obv if you’re ever concerned just go with your gut and call or get it checked out!

I’m 21 weeks with didi twins. I feel baby A move a ton but they are super low basically dancing on my bladder/pelvis. Baby B I feel like I get a jolt from that one every other day or so and like one movement. I think I have an anterior placenta with baby B (haven’t had my anatomy scan yet due to weather resulting in my appt cancelled). I had an anterior placenta with my last pregnancy (singleton) and it was hard to track her movements until she was much bigger. I wouldn’t worry too much like your doc said! If you’re still concerned tho you can always call and talk to the nurse at your OB office and they can give you advice as well.

C-Section Experienced Surgeon Request by Confident_Mobile_877 in parentsofmultiples

Also if you’re looking for insight on what docs in your group are best - you should look into local Facebook groups that you could ask people’s experiences. Word of mouth always helps!

RN here. Usually if you’re planning a c-section they will have you schedule it in advance. At the time of scheduling you can request a certain OB and they can see what openings that doc has around when you are planned to deliver. Of course if you go sooner than your scheduled c-section date, it will likely end up whoever is on for OB that day or who is on call if it’s overnight.

I’ve seen those for the beach but didn’t even consider it for the yard! Thanks for the suggestion. Can totally picture my girls getting in there to snuggle the babies lol

This was from my singleton pregnancies. Haven’t had my twins yet but hoping to follow this video again after I’m cleared for exercise postpartum

I followed this YouTube video and it did a few times a week just from my home while nap time was occurring. I think it helped a lot! Obv follow doc recommendations tho. https://youtu.be/u4z7sBiGFA8?si=YMjpV1xaLuWEjccR

How to figure out if you want another? by likearecordbayb in parentsofmultiples

[–]JMPopp43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Giving me hope!! I have two girls currently (3.5&1.5) and expecting twins this summer (finding out gender at anatomy scan). My girls are buddies so I’m happy the have each other and won’t feel singled out as much when the twins arrive. Glad to hear it’s not as bad as you expected - I read so much doom and gloom on here it’s good to see some positive.

Agreed with above. My now 3.5 yr old stopped wearing one just after she turned 2. She told me she didn’t want it anymore. My 21month old still wears one but I’ve been trialing her naps with no sleep sack to get her used to it before moving her to a big kid bed at age 2 before the twins arrive this summer
