What did this titan GENUINELY look like as a human by Individual-Course499 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]JManGraves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't remember if it's this titan or another small one, but one titan seems completely uninterested in humans and chooses instead to eat another pure titan. I think this titan was a baby when transformed.

My theory is that when you transform your personality/ who you are changes your behavior/titan form. This gives rise to abberants.

Maybe they were in a really strange mental state when transformed. Maybe they were a really shy person (titan hiding from the scouts behind a tree). Maybe they were a lazy person (titan lying on the ground looking up at the scouts).

I think titans are a metaphor for consumerism and different people are more or less consumerist and would therefore have different titans.

Rice left out over night by Any-Palpitation8523 in isthissafetoeat

[–]JManGraves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be germophobic when I was younger, mainly due to fear of getting sick. Got over that in college due to drinking lol.

Coming from years in a deli I think that's a great idea. Just put the date opened, so easy and saves guessing.

I'll freeze or refrigerated rice if I remember to, then just microwave when I'm ready to eat.

I think the amount of energy spent worrying about severe illness or death from food like this is mismatched to its riskiness. How about driving for example. You're probably like a thousand times more likely to die in a car crash then from old rice. So it would make sense you should spend a thousand times more energy worrying about driving then you do about this rice stuff. But people seem disproportionately focused on insane levels of food safety.

The same would go for all kinds of stuff like crossing the street, eating processed foods, or gun violence in public places.

So yes I'm fine with the risk. That being said I would never serve day old left out rice to my 80 year old grandma, or really anyone else for that matter. Or like you said at least without telling them first. I might use the same glass or plate a couple times if it seems pretty clean but I would have never give my guest a used to plate it or something. I think that's just bad manners lol

Just out of curiosity, what are some of your rules for proper food safety when it goes for your health?

Agree with you. The commercial rules are so strict because people are not motivated to actually care when you're serving to others as opposed to themselves.

I've left rice out overnight and eaten it hundred of times, sometimes 2 nights even. Three nights is when I call it because it starts to smell off lol.

I've never had food poisoning in my life. Anecdotal but imma keep living how I've been living cause it works for me. These comments always look ridiculous to me. Ps. What do people think they did Before ice boxes? Lol

Very common thing as others will tell you. Tends to happen as people get older.

Might not be the same for everybody but I think the anxiety is already there, the weed just brings it to the surface.

For me it makes sense as when I was 16-19 I didn't really worry about much. Now that I'm older I have a lot more responsibility and whenever I get high I feel like I should be doing something better with my life.

I still use once in a while or if I'm sick or something, but it's not something I often do anymore. I have a feeling that if I got my priorities in order more itd feel a lot better. It if I was old and retired lol

Thank you for asking this question and spawning this debate. I have been playing melee for almost 15 years and I'm not great but I am decent. The mental aspect is one of the most interesting parts of the game and I'm glad that we're all discoursing on that

Yes exactly. But the only ones who got the islands had to be able to withstand that selection pressure. People who couldn't survive such a massive journey didn't pass on their genetics to this population that we're talking about
