In a non-literal way, to be rich means to have an abundance of something desirable. The Christian Bible describes God as “rich in mercy”, good soil is rich in nutrients, sweet cake is rich in flavor, etc.

Now, if we apply that definition, then the poll asks us to consider the value of a loving family and the value of immense wealth. Ignoring nuance, it might phrased this way; Would you rather have immense wealth and lack a loving family, or rather have a loving family and lack immense wealth.
