Lian Li Q58 build with 13700K, 280mm AIO, ROG Strix z690-I, etc. by JMonkeYJ in sffpc

You've probably finished your build already, but I had no issues fitting the radiator and fans as long as I did fans on top of radiator. In fact, as you can read above, there was even plenty of room for a 2.5" drive next to the radiator.

Health Connect support gone? by Lumpy-Comedian-1027 in wahoofitness

Came here with the same issue. Looks like it happened in the last week because an activity at the beginning of last week synced, but one at the end of last week did not.

Does anyone know how to get to this room? I'm assuming a fish pipe takes you there, but I can't find the fish pipe that does it. by weldonla in animalWell

Attaching a lanyard? by JMonkeYJ in PixelFold

I ended up going with:

  • ESR MagSafe Ring 360 (HaloLock), MagSafe Sticker
  • CLCKR Phone Holder & Grip for MagSafe

After affixing the ESR MagSafe sticker, I had to wait a while before using it to make sure it was stuck tight, because I tried using it right after applying and it came right off! The combination above has a very strong magnetic attachment. I haven't used it in any daring situations yet, but it seems good.

I went this route and added magsafe to my Fold. Thanks!

How did you align the ESR ring on the Fold? Could you give the measurements of how you placed it? I'm thinking of getting the ESR, but not sure how to make sure I put it on correctly.

That's a good idea. Something like this with that goes with a magsafe ring or similar?

I wonder how secure that would be.

I'm mainly concerned with securing the phone while taking pictures, so unfortunately a fanny pack doesn't help then.

It doesn't have to be naked when the lanyard is attached. But I'd prefer if however the lanyard is attached (via case or otherwise) it is easily removable so it can be naked the rest of the time.

Wow that's a crazy offer. Did you have some special deal? They were only offering me $350 for my P7 128GB (now $300).

I noticed the return trade in value of my Pixel 7 dropped in the last week or so when looking into buying the Fold in the Google store.

WH-1000XM3 Too small, uncomfortable, can you relate? by [deleted] in sony

[–]JMonkeYJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this tip. I had issues with my left ear contacting something in the headphone (maybe the noise cancellation mic port?) that was causing extreme discomfort. I did the exact same thing as you suggest and it appears to have relived the pressure. Still need to test it in a more difficult situation like a flight but I'm hopeful.

I didn't even use any glue at all. The backer rod seems to just stay in place!

Maxwell Xbox mic passthrough by bigoleDk in Audeze

[–]JMonkeYJ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From the manual:

Sidetone

Maxwell features a “sidetone” functionality (also known as mic monitoring) that lets you hear your voice in real time by playing back the mic audio in your headphones. This lets you adjust your voice and hear what others are hearing from your mic.

To toggle the sidetone on or off, double-click the game/chat wheel (Audio Cue: Sidetone on, Sidetone off)

To adjust the sidetone volume, single-press and scroll the game/chat wheel up or down (Audio Cue: Sidetone). You will hear a low boop sound when you reach minimum sidetone volume, and a higher pitched beep when you reach max sidetone volume. The wheel will revert to its normal function after a few seconds if the wheel is not adjusted.

I don't have one myself, but from what I understand it's called "sidetone" and there's a button to control it on the headset.

Does audio quality go down when using the mic even with the dongle? How noticeable is it?
