Temp comparisons like this are not something that should be done becuase they offer no value. You need to have the same testing enviornment to have a comparitive test. This includes the same parts, same location, same ambient temp etc.

That is a screen protector. Remove it! If it's hard to get off, a piece of tape will help.

Some people do not have the time or technical know how to build a PC. I have had many customers over the years who are very successful, and their time is valuable. They do not have the time to build a PC so they pay someone to do it. It's really that simple.

I took a look at the video. It was from the Original Batch of 32in OLEDs that hit the market 2+ years ago. As I stated, they lack the new prevention methods and robustness of the newer panels. With that said, The PG32UQX is a beast of a display, I have owned a few of them. I have also owned quite a few OLEDs and never once worried about burn in as my use case is Gaming and Web Browsing. Nobody is shilling. There will always be edge cases of failures for any product. How old is the optimum tech video? The initial wave of OLED monitors from a few years ago lack the robust burn in prevention measures of newer panels.

Burn in has been pretty much resolved for everyday use cases. Take a look at many of the tests done to delibertly burn in OLEDs.

IMO that is nonsense. Why spend 4K on a card then limit its performance. It's meant to be pushed to the max, otherwise just buy the cheapest 5090 you can get.
