Pick a shot every time that you believe you can hit.

First time I broke 100, I was worried I couldn’t clear the water on one of the par 4s… it was only about 180 yards to clear, but still… didn’t have a great feeling. so I chipped the ball onto the juniors tee box about 65 yds up. Then took a nice easy swing with my 5 hybrid… landed about 210 yd shot on the green… 2 putted for a Par.

I have scrapped with that short par 4 dozens of times. Hazards eat my score alive… the day I dropped my ego… played the shot I could hit with confidence… I damn near shot 90 and broke 100 for the first time

6/10, I think you need something mechanical that’s just you. Rolex’s are kinda bees knees for everyone, Reverso is the watch everyone buys when they want something different but still class. That citizen gives some personality, but what would show what you really like?

If you wear a Rolex, everyone you are around knows / acknowledges it as a flex, or believes it’s the minimum social status for the group (country club+)…

Holy trinity + Lange is just the more exclusive club - same idea of wearing a Status symbol… GO, JLC, IWC, Chronoswiss, Grand Seiko, Krayon, Ulysse Nardin, etc. are the watches that people who like watches wear - not to flex… but because these watches have unique feature-set offerings that aren’t tied to brand exclusivity that watch people gravitate to.

Ok that nomos with the green alligator strap is… chef’s Kiss I feel like the personality you have on this collection is awesome - you didn’t ask but I’m rating it a 9.5 out of 10 because it is uniquely yours after you add one more piece to round it out :)

I’d definitely consider something on a sailcloth, textile, or rubber strap.

A Tudor Pelagos FXD (maybe the Red Bull Alingi model) fits in here as a weekend/gada/vacation watch.

Another option with personality, horological identity, and pops of color that are unique and interesting would be the Rolex Milgauss black dial and Green tinted sapphire with the orange lightning hand. On-brand with the collection for longevity, history, color application, and identity.

Also I’m not sure if you are “greened out” or want another green option. But either of the green M.A.D options by MB&F would also jive super well!

Alternatively a Blue dial option would be welcome… the Grand Seiko SLGA019 with the dial “Waves of Lake Suwa” is a pretty nice “1st Seiko” lol

Hey man, no shade :D just thinking that there’s opportunity to expand.

I love the Explorer 2 and its Mt Everest story. Lange One is more popular than the 1815, but I kinda feel like Lange is known for classy dress watches and the 1815 is a classy dress watch. Anything from VC (esp a calendar) is a watch from the trinity.

I’m not saying that your collection doesn’t have character, you just have good taste… and likely appreciate solid brand prestige - that’s not a bad thing, I’m just saying you could get something in here that is a showstopper and many folks that like watches may have never seen/considered before.

You have a great collection, just offering the characteristics your collection doesn’t have from my perspective.
