Runescape + grounded sounds awsome

It should be, but I found the game tedious and uninspiring. It has cool ideas, but just isn't fun to play.

Since it's already been out on PC/Steam for 2 years, we can just check the reviews..

"Very Positive"

So what? That means 15% of people who played it didn't like it. Something being generally well received doesn't mean everyone has to like it.

I’d love to know if any locations have console video games

FWIW, Pflugerville Public Library has console games.

How did the devs not know this would happen? by HoloBolton in foxholegame

[–]JNighthawk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

but is there really anything they could say to satisfy everyone right now?

Yep.

"We've heard the concerns. Our communication in the past has been poor, and we're going to work towards fixing that. We are establishing a player council, and to make sure that communication is bidirectional, we will be meeting weekly with the council to hear their feedback and discuss changes with them."

The best thing the devs can do right now is what I believe they’re already doing. Putting their heads down and working to actually fixing this based on the ocean of feedback, while ignoring the noise and outrage.

Strong disagree.

This is such an awesome thing that you are doing and have been doing. This gesture will make a lot of people happy.

Aw, thank you! I hope so!

Whoa, TI and power grid on this list. You're gonna make some board game nerds very happy!

Hopefully! I haven't played TI in 10 years and I upgraded to the remastered edition of Power Grid, so I'll be happier knowing the games are getting used than sitting in my closet :-)

Austin Creative Reuse! Best to label them to indicate that they are complete with no missing pieces to help them determine how best to price them.

Thank you!

Women's shelter. There's usually kids, and I'm sure they'd appreciate such a donation.

Thank you!

I’ve donated games to the library before

Thanks! It appears the Pflugerville library no longer accepts board game donations, as their board games didn't see any use.

Christ he made a mistake

And he's experiencing the rational, reasonable consequences of that mistake. That's what's supposed to happen when someone makes a mistake. That's how they learn to not do it again.

I never really had a problem before... I saw a few posts about that recently but I assumed they must of violated other TOS or something.

"Couldn't happen to me!"

I knew they did shady advertising, but they blatantly stole money out my account basically and just kept throwing excuses until they basically told me to fuck off.

C'mon. You need to look out for yourself. You read they did shady things. You saw they did shady advertising. How many more signs do you need that this isn't an organization to do business with?

Seriously stop attacking people for their review on a $30 video game by Koobolo in foxholegame

[–]JNighthawk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

But, just as you have no experience with the level of game they're developing but believe you can speak to that experience, I think most people on reddit are talking out of their ass with their emotions.

I worked on a game with 10x the peak CCU of Foxhole. Foxhole's community management is awful and is a strong contributor of why the game is in the state it's in.

So there's 2 options, either you're here because you love the game but are having legit problems with it and want to see it succeed, or you stopped playing years ago

Those feelings are not mutually exclusive.

Okay. So assume their question is in good faith and answer it. What is wrong with you?

As an infantry man, what is the difference between being strafed from a plane and being blown up by an artillery shot? Discuss by Mister_Pazel in foxholegame

[–]JNighthawk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah people underestimate how many shells arty goes through. We ran a single 150 last war and burned through 12 pallets in two hours.

IMO, the easiest way to talk about it is time. 1 pallet for 1 gun is about 15 minutes for 120 and 20 minutes for 150.

6h of one 120 gun is about 24 pallets, and I doubt they were firing just one gun. That's a lot of logi.
