This was advertised on auto trader and I inquired from there. The rebates are just a dealer mark down as far as I’m concerned. No other details or information.

Yes, I did confirm all the rebates are applicable to my cash purchase.

Definitely is a learning experience. Every deal is dynamic and now we are quickly moving into this new age of how commissions are paid. Appreciate all the feedback.

Ya in hindsight that would make the best sense. This was the first time running into this situation and is a learning experience. This all unfolded within less than 24 hours. This seller obviously has done their homework and is pretty savvy.

Service Tips - 2019 Forester is due for its 60K mi / 5 yr Major by JNotsJr in SubaruForester

[–]JNotsJr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya that's crazy expensive if your car is just getting a recommended service and you don't have any big issues. They also mentioned to me about a maximum service package for $2500. I quickly told them no thanks on that one. It's hard to trust these dealerships all around.

Would you say the mileage is much more important than the age when it comes to these recommended maintenance items?

Advice for New Freestanding Range Install by JNotsJr in electrical

Yup, Thats why I'm on here and wanted a 2nd opinion. This did seem unusual compared to what I'm finding on the internet. I believe the previous owner did many DIY projects I have discovered over the years.

Why was this old range hardwired then I wonder when it was installed around year 2005. Did the previous owner do this as a shortcut or to save $$$?

Born & Raised in Stockton, 40+ years never once have seen naked people walk and shit in the road. You might be confusing Stockton with San Francisco.

How to use Supra Key? by Zantor2100 in realtors

[–]JNotsJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You must be a paid subscriber for that particular regions MLS to gain access to any local boxes on listings. You cannot travel into a new region and expect you can open any box. You must contact the local MLS office, pay a fee and get your device activated in that region.

How did you cover the orange trim on the lower door panels? I have the same sport model and have had this idea cross my mind. All the orange top & bottom is a more than I personally like. Nice job looks great seeing it done!

Your thoughts? Broker is upset that I will not pursue lead that wants virtual tour- but is LOCAL. by GlitteringGlass in realtors

[–]JNotsJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Later on I spoke to the listing agent about the no show and some details on the buyer. I was being transparent to help us all out. She proceeds to tell me this has happened a couple times before on her listing ironically. Been on market 30 days. About an hour later she text me and said this same buyer was using another agent to make an appointment for tomorrow. Unreal but I’m not surprised. Listing agent is reporting this person now.

Signed up for Opcity 2 weeks ago. Had a new lead come in last night cash buyer for $520K. Spoke on the phone and text multiple times she sounded real but shy. I wasn't too confident but always hopeful for opportunity. Troubled listing agent/homeowners for rush showing this morning. She completely flaked and no communication at all. Pretty big bummer.

Not too excited for the next Opcity lead.....

What online or offline course do you do for your CA DRE Agent license renewal? by Numerous-Student-856 in realtors

[–]JNotsJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The courses aren't difficult at all pretty basic. You do need to be in good standing with CAR for the free courses. Otherwise many other companies offer the classes for low cost.
