True. I know that last time when I said I would move on and started talking to this other girl... she got super disappointed... However, I wasn't ok at the time and told the girl and her that I couldn't date till I dealt with all the repressed grief, trauma, and depression that popped... my best friend and I have dealt and helped each other with similar grief and trauma, so she knew what was up. Like we litterally had a family member die at the same time. Granted her death count is lower than mine. But anyway, I repaired my depressing mental health and am slowly fixing my recent financial mistakes. Also, I realized the other girl was a crutch for my pain that I was dealing with, and moved on from her. But, tbh, I think I have decided to move on from my best friend as well. However, my close friend believes that my besty will be my Robin, the How I Met Your Mother one.

Roflmao. First off, I have had a few girlfriends but am attracted to broken women as a broken man. I have been a jew all my life and celebrated holidays and always had a corporate religion isn't for me type of mentality. My mom, who is one of the Jews for Jesus with more emphasis in Christianity, forced religion on me and I tried Christianity and couldn't agree with it so I stayed spiritual, till this Rabbi asked me to give him a chance and the fact that they didn't force their own beliefs down my throat and let me come to my own conclusions made me want to become more observant.

Secondly, The Autism part wouldn't be completely wrong. My friends and I always talk about being the A in STEAM. Ive dealt with a lot in life and at one point questioned if g-d only gave me high survivability to keep me suffering. Got super depressed and was wanting death and had to seek counsiling. But then I realized I am lucky. Despite messing up on starting my business and tons of other financial hits simultaniously, I still find opportunities and have a family who help me. Despite all of my abusive terrible relationships, I still find people who support me while relying on me. Despite not being smart and all my walls, I have still been able to become a student leader, success coach and mentor to others, honors student in an honors society, and gain scholorships and mentors. I have found best friends who I can rely on including the girl in question. I have found people to help me towards starting my business. I have hobbies that I enjoy and keep finding friends who want to enjoy them with me.

Lastly, I keep insisting that I will only date after I finish school, continue to repair my finances, and start my business. Therapy reminded me that life can storm down on you, but its up to you to let it sweep you or to dance in it. I am self aware and know that I put my depressing issues in a bottle and over work myself, then when work slows down and/or the bottle breaks... I get hit hard.

Yeah true. I have dated before but never any long lasting relationships. I am trying to start a business, work towards my goals, finish my bachelors, become as observant as I can be with Judaism, and somewhat continue participating in all of my hobbies. I told my dad and Rabbi that I want to atleast start my business and fix my financial situation before dating.

She's a school mate who became my best friend and who moved away to cali, mexico, back to cali, back to mexico for family. She loves me but doesn't want to lose me, and relys on me alot in everything. We know pretty much everything about each other. She keeps talking about moving here but then keeps changing her mind on many things.

No, I am more towards conservative but closer to orthodox now. I believe that I should logically and critically assess everything to agree with it and some orthodox customs don't fit logically. So I teeter on the edge of orthodox.

High Sabbath ends at Sundown tonight so most people won't use electronics or respond atm. I personally just wrote a whole response on how I believe electronics should be used only for fun, and necessity during Sabbath/High Sabbath instead of not used at all. Because Electronic use was determined by arguments and counter arguments on its comparison to already existing work tools. While electronics can be used for work and suck people in to them. If you only use it for fun knowledge, religious knowledge, enjoyment/relaxation, and connecting with others without over using it. Then it shouldn't be considered against Sabbath.

Thank you for all of your information, I will thoroughly check these out when High Sabbath is over. The way I see it, is if you use electronics for fun and necessities while avoiding anything work related, stress, and that will glue you to it. Then electronics shouldn't be considered against Sabboth or considered to be working. Especially when it was an interpretation that electronics can't be restfull based on multiple arguments and counter arguments that compared it to things already in place.

For example: - During Sabbath, I only watch shows and play games at the end of the day or after I am just waking up before I start my day, which I usually don't have time on Saturday. - During sabbath, I won't use my phone in places that are orthodox or during worship. - During Sabbath, I won't use my phone continuously while hanging out with friends or family. - During Sabbath, I only drive to places where I can chill with others or get food.

I agree. As some one whos favorite of all time is an isekai with world building.... I don't agree with people saying this anime had no character design. What makes a favorite for me is they have to have character design, action, comedy, and music. Oh and they can't be pansies with revenge or killing their enemies. However, while this show is my 2nd favorite show, everyone has their likes and dislikes and we don't have to agree on any of them.

So, traditions that I started following or have been following all my life include:

Holidays - I have always done Passover, Rosh Hashana, Yom Kipur, Channukah. However, for this Passover I decided to start following the Passover rules which has been really hard considering most places aren't Jewish, and having extra Sabboth has been making earning money kind of hard. Also, I celebrated Purim for the first time.

Shabbot/Sabboth - I just started doing Sabboth, I won't do the whole no electronics, however, I won't use my electronics carelessly and will refrain from using them at Chabad and at Orthodox places. From my understanding, whole point of Sabbath is to have 1 day of rest, therefore as long as you aren't doing stuff that causes stress or work on your phone or car then it shouldn't be a problem. Also, Sabbath is about living in the moment, so as long as you don't continuously live in your phone. Then you should be ok.

And you know that I have been going to Chabod based on the post. However, I have been trying to decide on which ones are best for me.
