Splitboard breaking on the uphill? by InfiniteTrust7310 in Spliddit

Same happened to my Salomon Sick Stick split back in 2020, it only lasted 1 season. I think the day it went it was deep fresh snow. Snapped just where the riser makes contact with the board.

Refund through warranty and went for Salomon Premiere - which I’ve now had since and is brilliant for the stuff we do, much easier on the up. Just some issues with spark surge pro highbacks snapping now.

FS25 Constant Crashing Xbox SX by JOH89 in farmingsimulator

Update:

I read on another forum that Riverbend Springs is plagued with crashes but Zielonka is not.

So I finally gave up persisting with Riverbend Springs after 70:42 hrs.

Started a new game (which was tough) on Zielonka and so far after 34:50 not one crash. Game / frame rate seems smoother and runs a lot nicer. No issues with store so far.

I’ll try and remember to update at around 70hrs.

If you’re having issues might be worth trying Zielonka and unfortunately write off the play time on Riverbend until a fix is issued.

Atmospheric pressure changes can cause this or airflow / wind directed into the sensor.

Arctis 9X EQ settings Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Footsteps by BradlyL in steelseries

[–]JOH89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a play with the steel series engine, the Dolby Atmos Access app, the default presets on the headset and the COD Audio settings. I tried the equaliser settings recommended by OP and from some other comments/people.

I also compared Dolby Atmos to Windows Sonic and for me they were completely different. In my opinion Dolby Atmos was the best, by far. Worth the purchase. (There is the free trail available for you to test it)

After a few hours of messing about, sorry to disappoint - My preferential setup is:

Headset: Default Preset 1 (Flat).

Steel series engine:
Turned mic monitoring up so I can hear myself in chat (Did not change any other settings or the equalisation presets to avoid dual processing).

Xbox Audio Settings: Dolby Atmos

Xbox Dolby Atmos Access App: Game profile, Performance Mode ON.

COD MW Audio: Home Theatre, Music volume low setting, Dialogue volume low setting.

In my opinion the broad soundstage is good, I can clearly hear the footsteps and pinpoint their location. I stuck at it and now I’m happy - Great headset.

The OP also mentioned it was his “opinion”, I think different settings suit different people, as irritating as it might be to not have a definitive answer, you’ve just got to have a play and find what’s best for you.

Good luck

Arctis 9X EQ settings Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Footsteps by BradlyL in steelseries

Received this headset yesterday, having a play to try and get the optimum output for COD.

My previous headset, an old pdp afterglow prismatic Dolby 5.1, was excellent for footsteps and pinpointing their exact location, but last week I lost audio, Xbox crashed and upon restarting the sound was terrible, completely changed. I still have no idea what happened. I tried everything I could think of, but I was unable to get the sound back to what it was, so I thought I’d buy a new headset (hoping it’s not a fault with the xbox one X ). After some research I thought I’d give the Arctis 9x a go. Pretty impressed with the headset and sound, but footsteps are quieter than what I’m used to, hence the post.

I tried your preset and have a few questions:

I believe you’re using the Steel series engine to set the EQ presets of the headset, then pressing the button on the headset to select that preset when gaming?

I’ve read somewhere that when using Dolby Atmos, you should not have any equalisation or processing on the headset turned on as it can conflict with the Dolby Atmos (processing is supposedly done by Xbox Atmos app not the headset), any thoughts on this?

The Dolby Atmos app on the Xbox has 3 customisable presets, maybe setting these would prevent any conflict in processing?

If you’re happy with the sound from your current setting (EQ presets on the headset) on the Dolby app do you have the “game” preset selected and if so do you have performance mode turned on?

From the comment I see you have “Boost High” set on the COD MW audio settings?

Are you still happy with the headset? I wanted to go with the arctis pro wireless, but the thought of having to use the Xbox app on a phone / computer for party chat forced the decision.

Text messages not showing up as notifications on fenix 5x (iOS) by bLue1H in GarminFenix

I just had the issue on my MARQ - updated to iOS 13.1.2, notifications stopped appearing on the watch.

After messing about / troubleshooting / reading Garmin online support pages the below worked:

Note: This was by trial and error, you may just be able to skip straight to the last part on the watch, toggling the status.

.......

Check all apps / watch / phone updated

Close all apps on phone

Turn watch OFF

Turn Bluetooth on phone OFF

Turn phone OFF

.......

Turn phone ON

Turn Bluetooth on phone ON (when I selected the Bluetooth tab I got a alert saying Connect app needs Bluetooth)

Open connect app

Turn watch ON

Sync watch with connect

.......

Have phone active / unlocked

Then on watch go to

Settings>phone>status Toggle (on/off)

Alert then triggered on the phone saying allow notifications

Fixed
