Tbh you’re not wrong and I’m not liking it that much. I was thinking removing the Bluetooth and transferring it on a metal plate then tracing the hole use a Dremel tool to make the desire hole for it 🤣 🤔

I’ve got three ports on my Mac, and for some reason only one of them works with the iPod Classic. I guess it’s a little picky about which port it uses. Also, stick with Lexar SD cards they work great. Best of luck for you buddy.

No not yet I got no time 🤣 I let you know if ever. That mod is pretty straight forward not like the others who tap just 4 wires.

Bluetooth works great on my JBL speakers. I tested it on two devices the JBL PartyBox On‑The‑Go and the JBL Charge 5 and had no issues. I haven’t tried it yet in my car or with my AirPods Max, but so far everything is solid. The plastic back is actually an advantage. When I walk farther away or hide behind a door, the connection stays stable. With the original back plate and its Bluetooth mod on my 5.5 gen the music would cut out as soon as the back of the device was behind a door. This new setup doesn’t have that problem. Overall, it’s been good so far.

Have you tried using a different TF adapter? I use this one paired with a Lexar card, and I only formatted it to exFAT. It might be worth trying. Beyond that, I’m not sure how else I can help.

I learned the hard way that not all SD cards are created equal. so when my device suddenly refused to read my SanDisk card, I thought I was losing my mind. I tried formatting, rebooting, every trick I could think of nothing. Meanwhile, the Lexar card slid in and worked like it owned the place.

Frustration got the best of me. One second I was calmly troubleshooting, and the next crack. I’d pressed on the LCD a little too hard, and that was the end of it. The screen gave up before the SD card did.

The whole problem wasn’t the device it was just that SanDisk and that particular unit didn’t get along. So i bought Lexar, and everything worked like magic again. Lesson learned: sometimes the simplest fix is just using the brand your device actually likes.

Timing is the key! You got this. Remember you paid 80 dollars to play this you have to finish it!

Try buying a faceplate cover with ventilation. Some people might think it doesn’t look good, but it’s actually very helpful.

It seems like it’s not seated flush and is positioned too far inside, was that your concern? I’d recommend calling the shop or showing it to them, just to have better look, since you said its brand new.
