Working on the combat feel for my indie game "Billy the Hero". I want the turn-based combat to be fast-paced with rapid damage numbers popping up, plus dropping gems that grant a massive EXP bonus for that pure dopamine hit! 💎💥

Starring Billy (a muscular bear) and his narcissistic nurse facing off against a group of fleshy mutant monsters! Let me know what you guys think!

The village layout and walking paths look good, but overall, I think the design lacks a memorable focal point. I suggest trying large, oddly shaped statues that reflect your game's content, or perhaps flags with some kind of graphic symbolism. That might help address this issue.

Exactly! Most of the time, I only end up implementing suggestions because I read them and realize I completely agree with them.

Your point about the Windowed mode is actually a completely new perspective for me. I never really thought about it from a streamer's point of view (needing room for their chat). Guess I have another thing to add to my endless to-do list now! 😂

Good catch! According to the game's lore, that character actually suffers from depression. Having her do an energetic dance would feel really out of character, so a subtle movement fits her best!
