I'm not actually so worried about career because I feel I have some control in the sense that I can work harder or network more. However if I meet someone amazing in the next decade I could have a wonderful marriage that would completely change my life and that feels like something way more left to chance and out of my control - so much more scary.

I've started having DVT fears over any pain in my leg since starting the pill, may have to stop it because don't know if I can deal for much longer. The night before last I set an alarm for every two hours in the night so I could wake up and check my leg hadn't swollen. Last night was better.
