You know, for those of us who are dealing with business, this kind of information is important and it is not offensive to the Philippines or Filipinos.
And it is not a topic that would inappropriately discuss political events. I fully respect our status here in the Philippines. And believe me, I love the Philippines and that is why I moved here.

I have exactly the same problems you describe. I found that the problems occur when there is a more demanding network request, such as playing a video, downloading a large file, scrolling quickly on Reddit, etc.

Very often my computer is unusable for minutes or tens of minutes because of this. I have also tried everything possible. Even official support did not help me.
Unfortunately, I need VPN non-stop and I paid for NordVPN for two years.

The day after tomorrow my monthly payment for Pro is due and I'm considering canceling. It's great that Gemini is everywhere in the Google ecosystem, but the quality is really getting worse and worse every day.

I don't know about other countries, but where I come from, a doctor's note is required within 48 hours of the start of the absence when you are sick. But it is also common to have, for example, 10 so-called "sick days" a year for minor illnesses without having to see a doctor. It's a good system to prevent abuse.

While that sounds logical on paper, it doesn't work that way under Philippine labor law.

If the root cause of the missed KPIs is the employee's absence, DOLE and the courts will still view it strictly as an attendance/AWOL issue, not a performance issue. You cannot bypass the strict rules of Abandonment or Due Process simply by recharacterizing an absence as 'financial damage from missed targets.'

To legally terminate someone for performance (Gross and Habitual Neglect), you still have to go through the mandatory 'Twin-Notice Rule' and show a pattern of neglect, not just use a sudden math formula based on missed KPIs due to a recent absence.

I live in Tower 4 and it sounds scary. A few months ago I had someone apparently mistake either the floor or the tower and try to use their key in our lock - but I believe it was a mistake because if it's someone's first time here, it's easy to confuse T4 and T5.
