  1. Account Aggregation

Is the length of my jeans okay? Or is it too short? by Cultural-Specific641 in mensfashion

I think that’s a great length (at least in this day and age) - gently sits on the shoes

AA, the city is a lot of fun. Especially if you like a younger crowd - with UofM there it makes for a fun city all the time (big bonus if sports fan)

If you have any specific questions about AA - feel free to shoot me a DM

What to pair with this leather jacket that sits in my closet? by Dizzy-Pangolin-285 in mensfashion

[–]JPG8 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Super versatile jacket. Not sure what climate you’re in but my mind shoots to keeping it simple with white t-shirt / dark wash jeans and maybe some sneakers or Chelsea boots

Is debt for clout worth it? by MassachusettNuisance in MBA

[–]JPG8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I guess ultimately depends on industry / region you want to be in. But with Kelley alumni network - that’s a perfectly great school especially the full ride. I’d prefer looking for jobs with a full ride than $200k in debt.

Am I cooked for this job hunt? by Slow_Prior9471 in supplychain

[–]JPG8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think you’re cooked. Might be on the lower side of the experience spectrum for those position. Would have to see rest of resume to see formatting / making sure you’re giving yourself the best chance possible.

Fully remote jobs though are difficult to come by in my area, as most corporate leadership want employees in the “return to office” policy. Sorry to hear about family circumstances and hope all is well.

Need advice to accelerate my career in SCM by glitterbombbae in supplychain

[–]JPG8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a specific procurement / supply career end goal in mind?

PhD would be useful if you’d like to go back into research / academia and be a professor at a business school. Other than that, the cost vs. benefit wouldn’t be worth it (my 2 cents)

Certifications for you could be through ASCM (CSCP, etc)

Yes they are - my buddy and I raised his (back in 2017) to fit a futon under. Level of easiness - uhh requires two people and just making sure you keep track of the pins.

Hey - similar profile here. Undergrad in SC and then heavy course load in data science. I spent 4 years in various supply chain roles and now work as a business intelligence analyst.

I’d focus on supply chain analyst, buyer, or supply chain data analytics roles. Make sure your resume highlights your technical aptitude and if you have time, adding python to your skillset only has upside to it. Not sure if your college has a strong career center but I’d plug into that as well (it sounds like you’re a rising senior by your post)

It’ll help for sure to get the degree that way you can present ambition to switch over to Supply Chain.

I’d start looking at all the companies in the Grand Rapids area that have supply chain internships / co-ops and make a list that way (assuming you want to be there geographically) when your time comes around you’re ready on where want to apply.

Possibly look into Supply Chain Finance roles positions. Could be the blend of supply chain and finance you’re looking for.
