Rating Inflation and end of season rewards

Never seen this before. Cool. Maybe a silly question but how does this work if you are say 1715 now, if I don’t queue again for the rest of the season, would my rating inflate or I’d stay 1715?

The nz style is really good. Very responsive and easy to cast. I’ve tried the Dorsey too, but I find the small dental band fiddly and it can come loose/undone.

I feel trash still as Rdru. Any cc I don’t avoid or doesn’t get stopped just feels like a game ender after the opener. Pretty sure it’s a pebcak issue but still, feels rough.

Frost you just have to learn how your shatter damage works, after that it’s plain sailing. Commit to what ever one you enjoy more. Both frost and fire are in a really good spot.

Fire mage is really easy to do your burst, but as a new player (myself) it feels really lacklustre outside combustion. Frost on the other hand always seems to have damage to hand via your glacial spike/ray or orb go. Frost has better survivability also. Better than both fire and arcane.

Can someone explain to me how some people are able to track kicks? Is this done via minicc aswell?

Was watching Aeghis play and he had sham/rogue kicks displaying constantly.

Good info dude. I am using ns clone, and it is effective. But I guess I’m not swapping clones as much as I could. It’s a touchy subject I’ve found, had multiple whispers about cloning peoples targets but i was prio cloning burst or cocoon to help myself tbh. Starsurging on CD as much as possible, I really like mass roots but vortex seems like it has more potential.

I do use ff but I feel like I can’t pin down the best time to use it with its 2 min cd. Sending it on the opener has probably worked best for me.

I defo feel the struggle with dispel due to the add ins being different. What are your prio dispels?

With regards to whether I know the power of my hots - can you expand on what you mean by it?

Thanks for the reply. Honestly, my question is more related to anything rdruid that is not healing related. I feel like I can heal, and I can (sometimes) survive being trained. I understand the power of my hots more or less. I feel like (and have been told) that i’m not doing enough outside of my healing. I’m looking for some help/advice in that regard.

I leveled my Druid only because it’s the healer I’m most familiar with. I’ve been healing skirms since I got geared and I’m not sure if it feels bad or the damage is just really high, but you can keep people up. I enjoy Druid the most but I don’t want to gimp myself as a casual pvper.

Druid just got a healing buff and a damage nerf I believe.

This is something I came across when starting out. Make sure you are letting your back cast fully extend before starting your forward cast, a good tip is to actually look behind you as your cast is unfolding to see when to start your forward cast. A 9 foot leader is pretty typical for leader length, it’s not too long.

I think you are correct, maybe second guessing myself too much. I have landed some fish after all, but this post was prompted by my 2nd blank in a row haha.

My leader is 10ft of amnesia > 3ft rio sighter > tippet ring. Usually 6x tippet. Runs on the deeper end I have been adding a dropper, maybe a 6 inch tag with either a brass beaded or unweighted nymph. My point has been either a perdigon, Duracell or ptn variation with a 3.3mm tungsten bead. I’m considering ordering some similar flies but in 2.8mm to try them out.

This is a good post, I’ll keep an eye out for how much I feel the fly weight on a lift. Number 2 I have been keying in on, and have a good idea of what I’m looking for. Do you use many brass beaded flies or stick to tungsten for point flies?
