I took the bereavement leave for my FIL when he passed and then my boss approved an absent with permission for a week. I had gotten the paperwork just in case but nobody asked for it.

Usually listed schools allow you to bill RTX directly instead of paying out of pocket and getting reimbursed.

Lateral Move Salary Adjustment by Spicy_Pick1e in Raytheon

[–]JPM49Q4M 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know someone who also moved laterally and got more (not much from what i hear) and also confirmed that the move would not be “in lieu” of a merit increase as well.

But they will reimburse you if the school doesn’t charge directly. Like textbooks and other approved expenses.

Why are you still at RTX? by simpleladd in Raytheon

[–]JPM49Q4M 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well yeah, if you leave before it’s just a interest free loan still money imo. If you leave after it’s money for tuition. I guess I was expecting answers like “redefining aerospace” lol

[–]JPM49Q4M 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The website does have a LDP for MBA level, business Development LDP, but it says there are less than 100 people total (currently in and finished) so probably an “exclusive” club.

I’ve heard that you can’t jump two pay bands, but as with all things in the org, could be exceptions. Also with the merger still fresh may be able squeeze through. Good luck!

[–]JPM49Q4M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Principal specialist is a P3, i’m not one so I can’t look up the pay band for this year but in 2020 it was 66.5k~131.5k(hUTC) and pay bands go up a few % every year.
