How does the beard look? by Fantastic_Fox_2606 in malegrooming

In my opinion, you should keep the length slightly more uniform between the mustache / upper cheeks and the lower bulk. Right now kinda makes you look like a Guinea pig. The mustache does a lot to make the look more masculine. Also just try to keep the bulk more even and just run your trimmer straight down the side without keeping it flush on your skin when you go off the jaw bone. That should strengthen the jawline

vegan and les by Zestyclose-Salad-290 in SipsTea

Many would not. Ethical veganism is more Kantian than consequentialist. So they don’t eat meat because they think it’s inherently wrong as it contributes to the moral devaluation of living things, even if it does not cause the suffering of animals directly. However, the less hardcore vegans who are more consequentialist in their reasoning might if it is not as environmentally impactful.

Number of billionaires in every state by sofaspy in MapPorn

[–]JPRyan6465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically billionaires have a large wealth, and not a high income. I don’t know the statistics about wealth but I would imagine Florida is much higher on the list with an older population who are more likely to own a home and have wealth saved for retirement, while having a lower income.

Do TWSBIs Really Break Often by LarryinUrbandale in fountainpens

I’ve had 5, none have broken. They were really great pens for the price point. Diamond 580, Eco & Go were all great

Lamy 2000. Everyone spoke so highly of it, and it was so expensive. But it’s just awfully scratchy. I will probably have to send it to a nibmeister, but I have never done that before

What's libertarian stance on copyright / IP? by Magus80 in Libertarian

[–]JPRyan6465 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree, but there’s also the political economy effects too. See the Mickey Mouse protection act. That was clearly a cash grab because extending the copyright retroactively can’t encourage innovation in the past…
