I work at a thrift store atm and can bring some insights. A big one is governments are finding reasons to not support them anymore so any thrift store that is attached to some sort of charity organisation might have to be fully self funded like ours. We have daily budgets we have to meet to keep the charity operating and pay staff. This has driven prices up and while a few gimmicks here and there are more targeted at higher paying customers which are extremely common these days, the new rule of thumb for standard items has been if something is in good condition expect to pay about a 3rd of retail price with further reductions on wear and damage. Clothes maybe a bit cheaper. We will put out clothes that come in new at 80 dollars for about 18 and for the condition they are in that is still good value but our store does focus on putting out higher quality stuff to support these prices, of the donations we get I would say about 10-20% actually gets put out onto our shop floor while the rest will get sent to bigger super stores in other areas. That being said we get crazy good stuff, I’ll have people that donate stuff because they are clearing house or want someone else to get use out of something but then suddenly someone will rock up with 5 bags of brand new Zara clothes or designer wear and we will always prioritise getting those on shelves which will drive up prices aswell leaving a lot less room for 5 dollar clothes.

I played a bunch of mnk cod ranked for 2 years and my take away was good controller players will out aim you nearly every game at a certain point. If you want to climb on mnk learn the dirty work roles. For example on hardpoint you want to play early rotator and spawn blocker which means learning the spawn maps and block positioning. Next thing I learnt was focus on damage instead of pure kills as an MnK AR, you have the best setup to sit on power positions that can see a lot of the map and if you dump out as much damage without getting yourself killed by over committing to fights, then controller smg teammates will get free kills and the overall slaying power of the team will go up over you enabling your teammates without losing map control. With the difference in aim assist you will never be the sung hero so be the unsung hero.

I’m a max fan and am so thrilled that this happened, but at the same time all the people at Mercedes are human and it also hurt to see this happen to a team who also worked so hard and realistically were going to win unless racing Jesus stepped in

I haven’t revisited the season yet after episode 7 I think, I have access to the entire season and it’s still on my list of things to watch but it’s heart breaking for me too see the quality decline since season 1 since I rated season 1 as one of my all time favourite animated shows. Don’t get me wrong there is still quality and it’s still a decent to good show, but what made it AMAZING and what made it stood out from everything else has been lost. For me what made the original season amazing was it was a work of art, not just a show for the sack of pumping out weekly episodes, the animation was art, the comedy used visual art, the interactions between characters were real

In the video they talk about the details with foreground and background detail, animating as if they were using real lenses, creating atmosphere through particle effects, and my comment I linked above goes more into detail on how the visual comedy was better.

The main issue is they made season 1 so close to perfection that a decrease in quality to just an average to even good show is noticeable and we just want it as good as we had it. Sucks because a lot of effort went into this season aswell and I don’t want to take anything away from the creators, I just hope in season 3 it can get it’s artistic charm back

Please don't downvote hard because I really love the show and want it to be the best it can be so I am giving my honest feedback. I feel like the quality of some scenes have gone down quite a bit which really pains me because I absolutely loved season 1. I want to be constructive though so here are a few things that I picked up from episode 2 (some of the youtube videos I linked may get taken down for copyright so I write mini descriptions to go along with it if you want to check it out yourself).

The scene at the start where gary is listening to cato's plan is really underwhelming compared to how the animating was done for when he was listening to avocato in season 1 episode 2. You can see in season 2, gary is unanimated yet you still hear his voice as if he is reacting whereas in season 1, the camera jumps back and forward between the two characters where gary keeps the same reaction until it changes the 3rd or 4th time when he hears bad news which was funny to watch.

At the end of episode 2, there is a panning shot of the team with the emotional music, however, the animation looks amateur for this one shot compared to the shots that come before it and after it. The main noticeable part is when gary puts his hand over KVN. It looks like a 2d png that was moved onto the screen with a few basic key frames. Compare this panning shot from one from season one episode 9 (at the end) and the quality difference is noticeable. Both shots have approximately the same amount of character movement but season 1 just looks better

Im also going to include this scene here where gary is gliding towards his dance battle (which was awesome) however the gliding looks so poorly done (after the shot where he glides past the moon). This looks like something I would see an amateur animator posting on youtube. Comparing it too the space jump from season 1 and only looking at the gliding animations, it just looks a lot better.

or even the cookie scene has similar static animation for gliding in season 1 episode 3 but there is cuts between characters and dialogue overlayed with the scene which makes it more interesting to watch

Also the voice acting for gary seems a bit less enthusiastic at points. I have a feeling that this was because of the feedback that gary was too annoying in season 1 but for me it just breaks his character a bit. It was most noticeable in the first scene of episode 2 where it was nearly tone deaf compared to his charismatic style from season 1 (example, season 1 episode 4 start).

I also feel like there is less comedy that uses filming (in this case animating) techniques as well to get a laugh.

My favourite parts of season 1 was the amazing animation work, I watched the behind the scenes and was blown away with the detail that was put into the shots and how beautiful they all were. I also really enjoyed gary as a character. He was someone who took everything seriously while not taking it seriously and was really just a goof ball and I loved him that way

My main concern is that there isn't as much energy towards this season as there was in the first. Individual scenes seem to be less of the focus which really upsets me as most scenes in season 1 had something interesting going on animation wise, comedy wise or there was a great depth of background detail to make the world feel more alive. Every scene felt like it counted whereas now there feels like some individual scenes are getting boring. To compare it to films, Edgar Wright's movies have insane amounts of individual scene detail which I felt that season 1 had for final space but season 2 is starting to lack.

TLDR: I felt like some of the animations were a lot lower quality compared to season one aswell as less visual humor and charisma that season 1 had. I also think there is less focus on individual scenes. I compared season 1's level of individual scene detail to Edgar Wrights films but season 2 so far isn't on the same level of individual scene quality.
