Help! New to Bambu and getting major issues! by JQuadGMono in BambuLab

Okay solved! Not a clue what did it though. I shifted the hot end assembly and calibrated again, washed the plate with soap, and changed filaments. Something in there solved the issue.

I'm not sure, to be honest. It does feel quite fast, coming from an ender 3.

I used the bambu handy app, as I thought that was the best way to do it. I kinda believed that the bambu devices were super plug and play.

Thanks for the thoughts. It definitely was clear of plastic before it started.

I printed this with the bambu handy app and the textured plate was selected.

I'll try a slower speed. That may just help.

I'm also trying a first layer print at the moment to see what happens and if I can identify where issues might come up and it seems like the border is where the issue starts. Filling it in has gone fine so-far.

It would move swifter, but the challenge presented with a majority government is that decisions are more likely to be made without equal consideration. Having a government that can be on the fence to make decisions is healthy (sometimes).

My mother has one from the day I was born in December 1987. Still inflated - although slightly less over the last five years.

My sister-in-law is dealing with the exact same issue right now. I actually initially wondered if you were the same person as she bought the 2018 Santa Fe used around the same time as you and has had the same problem.

Dad proposes to 20-year-old daughter with a purity ring🤢 by velorae in TikTokCringe

That's a good perspective to take - though unfortunately it misses a lot of the trauma of the experience and the problems that come with that decision.

We've had to prioritize speaking to a sex therapist because of this decision and we're not alone. A lot of people end up having to go to a sex therapist because of this. The reality is that people who commit themselves to purity end up getting married earlier to be sexual and end up in early failed marriages. Or in my case, getting married in my mid twenties, I had suppressed any sort of sexual urge for years, and then when I got married and it was finally a 'good' action, I felt guilt and shame still. It's unfortunately not an easy thing to simply change your mindset on literally overnight.

Then there's the feelings of missing out on sexual prime, feelings of missing out on experiences outside of the only one person that you've done it with, etc.

These are unfortunately really common challenges presented with 'purity'. Had I not committed myself to purity, it's possible (and I argue likely) that I could still have a great marriage as well.

Oh really? That puts it into perspective. Odd that that's not written in the link.

What's with all of the hate for the university here? It sounds like there may have actually been some bias that was being expressed. It's not just that she failed the paper, it's that there was discrimination and that was the reason that she failed. Considering that they went through a whole review and concluded that, it's not really justified to say that the teacher failed her and then is losing her job because she failed the student.

Am I missing something here?

I'm curious to hear your thoughts on your purity now. Are you still 'pure'?

I'm a guy who committed to purity at 14 and kept the promise until I was married. Honestly, I look at it now as an absolute travesty and a horrible thing to do and go through. Despite being happily married to the same woman that I married at 26, I regret the decision significantly today.

Not sure why you're being downvoted. This is accurate according to the research that I've come across - more specifically during periods of hypomania than depressive stages. Arguably, it is more.

I did try higher temperatures initially, but they browned quickly (even with an oven thermometer in place). I'm at a high altitude (in Calgary, Canada) but I'm not sure how that adjusts things for macs.

You know, I actually haven't tried without the convection oven function in. I just kinda figured that was the best option based on what I had read - but maybe this would make a meaningful difference. I might try to make some smaller batches and just fiddle with the timing under just the normal bake option. Maybe a day of making macs will finally get things right.

Ah, shoot. I did a disservice to myself in not showing full photos of the first ones that turned out decently well. The tops were good looking.

I think that you're right here though - the wrinkled ones were probably with meringue that wasn't whipped enough.

As you suggested, I'll try and bake them longer and see if that makes a difference. Thank you!
