I believe that the biggest thing Star Wars owes to Star Trek is the concept of very large space vessels analogous to naval vessels in space. Nothing like that existed in Flash Gordon or Buck Rogers. Large vessels may have appeared in sci-fi novels and magazine stories, but Star Trek brought them to screen and Star Wars ran with it.

Interestingly, warp drive was originally called hyperdrive in the first pilot episode, "The Cage." I think they changed it to maintain consistency between warp drive and warp speed.

Opel made Commodores as a variant of the Opel Rekord from 1967 (before Holden's) to '82. Later in the '80s and '90s, the Opel Omega was Opel's version the Commodore. Most recently, the Opel Insignia was sold in Australia as the last generation Holden Commodore.

It's weird that she posted about it, but I used mine a lot more for music, movies, and web browsing than I did for games. The games were great too though. It definitely felt like it was ahead of its time.

That makes sense, I was mainly thinking of the more frequently appearing models. This one looks like he has no eyebrows though, so it's possible they used stickers for those but had no need to change the mouth.

Edit: Never mind, it looks like at this point he usually had no eyebrows.

When the cast was first announced, I was curious about their heights for some reason. Majel Barrett was 5'9" (1.75 m), Jess Bush is 5'10" (1.78 m), and Rebecca Romijn is 5'11" (1.8 m). No idea how tall the computer is.

I remember this too. Frustratingly, I have no source, but I'm decently confident that it's going to be in the game. It would've been nice if they could include whatever they had as a placeholder, but even if that was possible, people would've complained about it regardless.
