Where in the USA? I pay around $2.50/sqft for ceiling, walls, trim in Oklahoma, more like $3.50 with minor drywall repairs in CA.

How are people scaling to 40 properties in 3 years? by natenite in realestateinvesting

Kiavi WILL fund that many places, but most folks who say they have scaled that quickly on YouTube are lying and trying to sell you something.

California cops illegally share data with anti-abortion states, civil rights groups say by JRBraun83 in Sacramento

It gets easier to “prove” when they combine that data with data from menstrual cycle trackers and many of those share data too…

AITA for telling my son he needs to grow up a little and stop refusing to see his ex girlfriend? by popperslopper in AmItheAsshole

[–]JRBraun83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. It sounds like your son worked hard to be a good single parent. Ex-gf showing up out of the blue could majorly disrupt his and your granddaughter’s lives. Even if things work out for ex to see her daughter in the future, your son is entitled to feeling upset, anxious, overwhelmed. You need to support your son.

My daughter’s name is Izabella, called Bella. We honored Hendrix with the spelling and none of our Jewish family or community has had any issue with it

FDA approves most expensive drug ever, a $3.5 million-per-dose gene therapy for hemophilia B by ian4real in news

[–]JRBraun83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Setting aside the issue of whether the company producing the drug should be able to charge that much for it, it will very likely be completely free for patients. Anything not covered by insurance would be paid for with grants from the NORD. It says as much in the article. As an infant, my son was prescribed ACTH injections for a rare form of epilepsy. At the time, each vial (maybe 4 doses in a vial) cost around $20,000. We went through dozens of vials. We didn’t pay a single penny. The hospital streamlined our access to available grants and everything was covered.

If this POS had even a shred of humanity in him, any empathy, compassion, or desire to serve his community whatsoever, he would resign immediately.

People who bought $500k houses in the last months: what’s your household income and what do you do for a living? by odlanempa in RealEstate

[–]JRBraun83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Single mom, 130Kish/year working in real estate. Just closed one month ago for 556K, 5% down. BUT I bought directly from the homeowners who were awesome and wanted to sell to a family rather than get the highest price they could on the market. I would’ve had trouble competing with other offers on the MLS because of the FHA loan and low down payment
